Breakfast was N/A . staff friendly and helpful, room was spacious and clean, plenty of parking.

Room was very old and tired. Carpet very stained and bathroom wasn’t very clean. Shower was also very old, with no water pressure at all. The mattress was very thin. Walls were very thin so I could hear everything. I was staying here for work so I couldn’t move hotels. I wouldn’t stay here again. Staff were friendly and kind though. And there is loads of parking spaces.

Clean comfortable room , friendly staff ,beautiful location. Food was good but menus need updating ?, price on room breakfast menu not same once in restaurant. Also didn't have a lot of the things on menu in the evening.

Room was very dusty, very small amount of toilet paper in the bathroom, windows all rusty and paint worn off. Breakfast really expensive. £9 for 2 pieces of bread and a piece of bacon, the bread so hard, it couldnt all be eaten. Drinks very expensive and not even sure it was a full pint measure as no mark on glass and not an oversized glass. Staff were friendly enough and took a photo of us in our special t shirts. Hotel overall needs a good revamp.

You advertised a buffee breakfast, it was not and the price you charge us was dearer than the price of their breakfast . This was your fault not the hotel .

Property a bit tired and could do with some TLC but a pleasant enough stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful building but in need of a bit of tlc, staff were fantastic and the food amazing.

Good value for money. The staff are very nice and welcoming and helpful. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and bar. The property is old and a little worn but everything works and it is comfortable.

Excellent staff. Good food. Lighting in room could be better. Slippy bathroom floor. Allowed to store cycles in room. Clean room.

Staff were friendly however the room didn’t look like the photos I’d booked for a standard double room but more like a family room with no single bed in it anymore. The room did the job however was noticeable damage to some aspects like the bath being cracked and part of window handle being broken. I did find a snail in my room and a bug had made it into the bathroom upon my arrival back to the hotel on my second night.

Adequate onsite parking, prompt and swift check in, good clean room. Restaurant food and service was good. Sudeep was very good and everywhere needed there to serve!

Carpets very dirty and smells in the room and outside of the bedroom especially corridors not enough internet in the room where i was old windows Bathroom very old very low pressure in the shower toilet flush is not good condition toilet door make too much noise when you closing old tv not connected with internet overall I will give only one star sorry

A very tired and in parts run down and Dated Hotel very smelly and Musty in parts room not very clean and Dusty. electric socket Broken light shade Broken beds uncomfortable pillows old and flat Bathroom tile floor tiles Cracked, sink plug Broken, cold tap not working correctly. All in all we tolerated one nights stay would not recommend nor stay there again.

Needs some maintenance

It’s fine if you only have a very short stay. When you walk in there is a funny smell throughout the whole of the hallway. Luckily this isn’t in the room. There were a load of dead flies on the window sills of the stairs as well. Carpets and general cleanliness of the stairways was terrible, which made us worried for what our room would be like. Room was serviceable. Linen and towels were all clean. Didn’t pull the sheets back to check the mattress as it was likely not clean, as there were no mattress protectors. Dry aged decor. Bathroom was ok, not the cleanest. Strange mark in the toilet, which we couldn’t remove. Breakfast was nice, but charged extra, so not included. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for and this is definitely on the more budget end of the accommodation scale.

The property was tired and needs a overhaul. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was good. The staff were absolutely brilliant helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Food was lovely both breakfast and dinner. Would recommend it

The staff were really friendly and lovely and the stay was so value for money with breakfast included. The bed was also quite comfy and the room was nice and warm. The decor is a little outdated but that doesn't affect the stay at all. The pub was decent and although we didnt try the food, the menu looked great.
