We had a comfortable & wonderful stay. The owners & staff were very helpful & polite. The hotel was a peaceful setting with wonderful grounds.

Very nice home from home room, nice and quiet, friendly owners and staff, clean well kept accommodation, nice atmosphere, will visit again.

We had a fantastic few days at Dower House. The rooms are beautiful, the food was outstanding and we couldn’t have been better looked after. We will definitely be back.

The stay was simply perfect. The loction was quiet . The team looking after us were so helpful and attentive. the room was beautiful and had everything we needed. What an amazing place. Great property with lovely grounds in a fabulous location. The hotel was a great blend of old and new with a lovely overall feel. The owners gave a really warm welcome to my wife and I and our 2 dogs. If you want luxury and somewhere that also caters for your 4 legged friend, this is it! Cannot recommend more highly!

Dower House Hotel is one of the most welcoming & accomodating hotels. Makes you wish you could stay longer in super comfortable room & lovely surroundings. They don’t have evening meals but this provides opportunity to explore the selection of eateries in the area.

We have had another fabulous stay at the Dower House Hotel and were looked after by our wonderful hosts Neil and Rosemary and their team. Since our last stay the en-suite shower room in “Peek” has been updated which is very smart. Attention to detail is excellent with many nice little touches and now with the addition of lovely fluffy gowns. The “Devon” breakfast is substantial and made with top quality ingredients. Well done !

This is a beautiful place to stay. Nice rooms with nice bathrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. The heated pool was so nice. We drove there and there was plenty of parking. Would like to return some day for a longer stay. Dog friendly.

Dower House Hotel was beautiful. We were treated so well when we got there and had a great breakfast. I couldn't have asked for anything else to make our visit better. EXCELLENT place to stay.

A warm welcome from the owners at the Dower House. What a lovely stay we had. Such a lovely hotel and grounds, with an outdoor pool too. The rooms are furnished to a high standard, with a comfortable bed,. A quiet location but only 2 miles into Lyme Regis. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Dower House hotel is a wonderful retreat Just a short distance from Lyme Regis, the hotel in general and our room in particular were decorated to a very high standard The hotel was spotlessly clean and breakfast was superb The hotel sits in a lovely garden with a pool and great views across the rolling hillside Neil and Rosemarie were fantastic hosts and we look forward to staying with them again soon
