Dinner was really lovely and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Clean room and very spacious.

The whole property was amazingly tastefully decorated..the staff were all very friendly..the room was very spacious with a very large comfortable bed..very modern bathroom...tray with bottled water, tea, cafetiere coffee, milk sugar..fridge in wardrobe...very tasty breakfast...would highly recommend and will definitely return...

Fab stay at the Mayflower. Excellent service, always met with such joy and helpfulness. Would gladly stay again! Had dinner twice with excellent food and great ambiance, quite relaxed so suitable for children and babies. breakfast was amazing also!

Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay.Was greeted by very friendly staff who showed us to our room which had a balcony with lovely views of the sea and Isle of Wight in the distance. Room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Had dinner one of the evening’s and I must say was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had,My wife had the fish and chips and was as happy as me with her choice. Breakfast was very nice too. Lovely big beer garden with plenty of seating area. Would definitely visit The Mayflower again 5 ⭐️

Nice quite location, staff polite

The overall condition of the hotel was appalling, from the minute you draw up outside and then climb the stairs to the overrated oddly decorated room. The staff were beyond amazing and the food was excellent, and the room itself was spotless. Such a shame about the initial sight, and the filthy hall and stair carpet. And the lack of any comfort in the bedroom except for the bed. And why is the bathroom mirror almost on the ceiling? All I could see was my forehead. It was a perfect situation for a lovely stay. What a shame it is going to rack and ruin.

Great location, wonderful dinner and breakfast...

Excellent stay - the location is great and a nice walk to the town centre & Quayside as well as an easy drive through the New Forest - the room was lovely & spacious & the bed extremely comfortable! The shower was one of the best hotel showers I have used! The food was excellent especially the breakfast - and finally the staff, they were brilliant!!!!!! At times the pub was very busy yet the staff were always kind & cheerful & the service they gave was exceptional - I would highly recommend staying here!!!

This was the first of many b&B's we stayed at on our UK trip and it was the best and the only one that I would actually recommend to people. The breakfast was really delicious.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location for the nature reserve not far from town either. Friendly and efficient team of staff, including a very good chef. Very comfortable.

Lovely room, very comfortable, spacious and clean. Staff mostly friendly but staff cashing up at 8.30 in the evening while we were having a drinks after our meal and service at breakfast a bit sparse

Great place to stay for Valentines day with good location. Lovely warm welcome from staff on arrival who showed us to our room. Stayed in room 5, gorgeous room which was very spacious.Cocktails were great and the food was delicious. Unfortunately we didnt sleep very well due to very hot room and faulty radiator. Comfy kingsize bed and great shower. Breakfast was delicious and member of staff was very helpful. Will definitely return
