Very expensive stay and disappointed on arrival to find the guest parking was liited to 8 cars! This should be clearly stated as the listing was deceptive. The hotel is old and tired - there were no unused electrical sockets available, small room, no view, the corridor lighting shone under the door and the air con was noisy so disrupted sleep. Good breakfast is the only positive from this overpriced break.

Very limited parking, but extremely walkable. Rooms are small but comfortable.

An ok stay , receptionist could at least look up from her phone and acknowledge customers when they walk into the hotel . Parking is limited but rooms are comfortable and well soundproofed .

Only stayed one night. Pleasant, friendly, walkable.

The location was great, beds were very comfortable. The staff was very nice, but the parking was a bit of challenge with not enough spaces for everyone staying. Once you leave, you’re unlikely to get a spot when you return. And the shower was very confusing. Overall it was still a nice hotel and very convenient for getting around.

Friendly, clean room However parking is on a first come basis, would have been good to know before booking. There is pay and display outside but only for one hour

The restaurant looked amazing. Unfortunately, we didn’t even try it because of how bad the room was. Uncomfortable bed. Floors uneven and creaky. If you’re remodeling an old place, either go all in on making it “vintage” or go all in modernizing. Desk personnel were not very friendly or helpful. Did have parking but tight and filled up quickly. Walkable to the Cathedral and other sights.

I always stay here when in Salisbury. Good service, comfortable,good breakfast. Definitely better than the alternatives.

Great place to stay- just be advised that if you’re bringing your car, there isn’t much parking

Very friendly staff on the desk and in the restaurant. The location was very central and great for exploring the city. We would stay there again

The hotel was amazing considering it was built in the 1400's. The staff was very nice. The room was decent although the bed was a little too soft for me. The welcome drink of 50% off was a nice surprise. The walls were a little thin, and someone above me was clomping around. The biggest problem that I had was the bed bugs. I got bitten the first night but wasn't sure exactly what was going on. The second night left no doubt. I went down to reception to ask for another room, but they were fully booked. My friend and I had to stay up all night and pay extra to catch an earlier train, ruining our day out in Salisbury. In the morning, the woman at reception said that they would be refunding my money. I hope that everything gets straightened out as, in general, it's a nice place to stay.

Lovely hotel close to city centre. Staff were fantastic and very friendly. Room great and breakfast delicious. I hope to come back one day.

Nice but the room smelt a bit musty.

The layout of the Hotel is rather confusing, but that is understandable considering the cacophony of the buildings it is housed in. Pleasant and welcoming staff and an excellent location to walk around Salisbury.
