Great location, lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast and wonderful hosts, although Steve's taste in music is a bit hit n miss. We'll definitely be back.

Steve and Fiona are excellent hosts and nothing could be any trouble. We hope to go back again.

Stayed for 2 nights at this lovely B&B. Steve, the host, gave us a warm, friendly greeting when we arrived. He told us we could make use of the guest sitting room & were welcome to use the record player if we wanted to as he had a selection of vinyl records. We didn't get a chance to do this but it was great having the records playing at breakfast. Our room was nice & bright. Lovely tea tray with tea bags, coffee bags, etc, fresh water & biscuits. Toiletries are provided along with nice fluffy towels. We ate in the pub opposite the B&B, The Kingfisher, the first night & had a good meal. It was very busy but the service was good. At breakfast we opted for a full English which was very tasty with locally sourced ingredients. There was also a selection of cereals, fruit juices, fruit & preserves, tea & coffee. There is no private allocated parking but there are plenty of places to park free very close by, we never had any trouble finding a spot. Steve was a great host, very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay & would not hesitate to stay again if we were in the area.

Nice b and b well managed would use again

This is an old property in a delightful village with lovely, friendly staff. It is opposite the Kingfisher Pub which serves excellent local food.

All was very good and welcoming

Brilliant accommodation, breakfast and location. Directly opposite a very good local with a good range of food and drink. Would help if the Pubs clientele were a little quieter when exiting at closing time but not detracting from a probable return trip to the Old Bakehouse.

Wonderful hosts in a super charming location, close to the coast. Lots of history in this town, and very picturesque. Breakfast was tasty and served hot and to our requests. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for two nights, the initial observation was of a well restored building in a tidy little square. Steve, the host welcomed us with his partner Fiona. He showed us the dining and guest sitting room (very nice) and gave us a brief run down on the buildings' history. our room was allocated and this proved to be a recently decorated and refurbished room (as are all the rooms) with an en suite bathroom/toilet. There were the usual tea/coffee making facilities (milk in pouches not the normal uht stuff!).The bed proved to be comfortable and there was a wardrobe/cupboard for hanging clothes. Breakfast was excellent, with locally sourced bacon, sausage (superb) and eggs, etc. Coffee flowed in plentiful supply. Taken as a whole we enjoyed our stay and would certainly choose The Old Bakehouse should we return to this area.

10/10 throughout: welcoming friendly host, very clean, wonderful breakfasts and very nice room. Everything we needed to a great standard and reasonable price.

Ett helt fantastiskt B&B! Fina, rena och fräscha , personligt inredda rum. Servicen var av högsta kvalitet. Värdparet tar sig dessutom tid att fråga vad man önskar sig till frukost. Kan varmt rekommendera detta underbart trevliga lilla B&B!
