Although I had a cooked breakfast, it consisted of one sausage, a small piece of bacon and ‘bulked up’ by beans and sliced potato. This was rather poor. The room could have been improved very cheaply. The bath mat had holes in it. There was only hand wash in the shower and a good mould remover was badly needed.

The property is kind of off the beaten path and a little dated. The room was small but comfortable. The landlord was friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night on out way to Bath. So it served the purpose it was needed for.

The property has the basic amenities, we only needed a bed and a shower. The bed was comfortable, the power shower hot. Just what we needed.

Friendly helpful owner. The food was fine and place was close to where we were going the next day.

I found the owner to be very friendly, welcoming and hospitable. Good facilities at the accommodation with ample parking. Very adjacent to Bath and Somerset Showground for access to Newwine conference as well as close to Shepton Mallet. Breakfast was substantial and decent. Overall, good stay. Thank-you

We were visisting Glastonbury and booked into here Great stay here in Shepton, good choice of drinks and meals.. Rooms were set out nice and airy, view of surrounding area in our rooms ... Couldn’t have asked for better hosts 👍

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Asked for a quiet room at the back and got one. Excellent location for our needs and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely return.

Needed a single night stay for a local training day. Staff were lovely and accommodating and the room was perfectly clean. Breakfast was also included.

An excellent and pretty property with everything you could need in the room. The host was exceptional in making us feel welcome and cooking delicious breakfasts and evening meals. We will definitely stay there again next time we’re visiting the showground for the antique fair as it is situated so close to it.

The host was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Shower room very small. No frills but good for the price. Breakfast very nice. Food at the pub down the road very good in the evening.
