A great place to stay, particularly if travelling with a furry companion. There are many great walks from the hotel and easy access to beaches. The hotel is welcoming, the staff very friendly and the food is great quality, with mainly local ingredients. There is much to see and do in the area, including RSPB Leighton Moss, Arnside Knot and Arnside village which has good cafes and shops and great views of the Lake District.

The staff could not have been more helpful. Hotel is in a beautiful place, just moments from the shoreline. The room was lovely and quirky and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our travels. Thank you.

Lovely homely hotel/pub. Staff very friendly and the food was excellent. Great location for a stop on the way to Scotland as not far off of the motorway. Beautiful area.

A great place to stay, particularly if travelling with a furry companion. There are many great walks from the hotel and easy access to beaches. The hotel is welcoming, the staff very friendly and the food is great quality, with mainly local ingredients. There is much to see and do in the area, including RSPB Leighton Moss, Arnside Knot and Arnside village which has good cafes and shops and great views of the Lake District.

Parking in pub car park was easy as we arrived early. Had a drink in the bar and a walk to the shore before check in at 2pm. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely with everything you need. Bed was comfortable, lots of extra bedding and pillows if needed. Bath was a bit difficult to get out of for us personally but would be fine for most people. Meals were delicious, we had breakfast, dinner and tea. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This hotel had a rating of 9.6 when I booked. It deserves at least that it is excellent. The staff are fantastic and the food is great. The ambience in the bars is superb. A lot of thought has gone into the decor to make this the most welcoming and relaxing place to stay.

It's the staff that make this hotel stand out , closely followed by the food ,which was apparent during breakfast no short cuts on quality, using local suppliers.
The biggest surprise was the Saturday nights entertainment with a local group playing all the classics.
Rooms in keeping with the traditional vibe that goes with the rest of the hotel.

choice was good and evening meals were excellent and very good value for money. The bar and dining areas were spacious with comfy chairs to sit in and a relaxing atmosphere. It's a great centre for walking and cycling. Overall great value for money. We will be back.

Fantastic stay at the Silverdale Hotel. The staff were superb - very welcoming and this really added to our stay. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were excellent. Great selection of teas and coffees in our bedroom - was a nice touch. The stay was fantastic value for money and we will return.

Nice hotel with very friendly helpful staff we took our dog you can take your dog into the restaurant if you want to breakfast is excellent food also nice had a meal in the evening and there is a nice walk down to the sea not quite a beach, but a nice little walk
