It was freezing due to a lack of heating. I had to chase up several times to get the heating switched on. No hangars in the wardrobe and I had to chase up fresh cups, glasses and coffee etc for the 2nd morning. Also needed to ask for fresh towels as the first lot were unable to dry properly due to the room being so cold.

Great value. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfy with crisp white linen and good pillows. Our room was much larger than expected, light and bright. The sofa was a nice touch. The en suite was functional and warm. Our room overlooked the car park so was quiet. Whilst The Spread Eagle doesn’t serve food, there are loads of eateries very nearby. All in all a great choice and one we shall use again.
