We had a one night stay while visiting Stratford Upon Avon. The room was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Staff friendly. Convenient location, close to Stratford Upon Avon - we visited the sites, saw a Royal Shakespeare Company play and were able to take a short drive to stay at this lovely Pub/Inn.

Stayed for one night en route. Comfortable and clean. Furnishings in the room adequate. Good, hot shower. It was bitterly cold and the duvet and pillows were a bit thin and “tired” so we were a little cool. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Advice from a previous guest to have a room at the back of the property was useful as it was quiet.

Accommodation was fine
The food was really nice although a few more vegan options would be great.
Kitchen staff where very good in telling me what was and wasn't vegan during the evening meal and at breakfast.
Overall a nice stay and was a stones throw from the lovely coughton court that we visited.

This small wayside inn, a pub with rooms in may ways is just a little gem. There is nothing fancy or pretentious just a very comfortable bed, a well appointed shower room, a good sustaining breakfast, and most importantly of all great wine and beer and wonderful home cooked food.
English hospitality at it's absolute best, with well trained and marshalled local staff who are always friendly and helpful.
We keep coming back, it is handy for Stratford, Birmingham and the northern cotswolds.
