Excellent stay. Very clean room and comfy bed. Great guest extras provided- everything you could possibly need! Yummy breakfast provided as well. I would highly recommend.

Were the rooms clean? Were the hosts welcoming, knowledgeable and professional? Would I recommend the White Cottage B&B for those wanting to stay in a lovely village with good access to other parts of East Devon and beyond? Absolutely, yes! Not only would I recommend White Cottage B&B but I shall definitely stay there again on my next visit. The room and its ensuite, as well areas such like the dining room, the living room with its homely bar, were all very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the room nice and warm with useful coffee and tea-making facilities with a nice aspect overlooking the garden with its amazing, beautiful tree. the choice at breakfast is wide and if porridge is your thing, Steve makes a mean porridge! Delish! It's a lovely place - go stay!

Charming cottage in a lovely village location .

We very much enjoyed our stay at the White Cottage. We were made very welcome and shown around on our arrival. The room was nice, with two chairs as well as a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, including a flask of fresh milk and decaff coffee and tea which was appreciated. The shower was powerful and warm and plenty of towels were provided. There was a nice guest lounge downstairs and a bar, plus a lovely garden to sit in. The breakfast was excellent too - freshly cooked and nice and warm. We very much enjoyed our stay at the White Cottage, thank you.

Amazing house in a quaint English village.

A beautiful period house in a lovely, large garden setting. Nice hosts have taken great care in the detail of what is provided in the guest rooms. The lounge and guest bar are also exceptional for the size of property. All in all a very enjoyable visit.

Brilliant stay at a wonderful cottage. The breakfasts were very good and the cottage was in a prime location to easily get around Devon. All good, nice hosts, great room and will definitely stay there again.

Perfect Good value

Very enjoyable stay. Everything was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful garden to relax in as well!

Donna and Steve were welcoming and friendly. Their home was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with fresh local produce. Colyton is a lovely small village with good pubs in walking distance.

From the moment we arrived at the White Cottage we were made to feel warmly welcomed by Donna and Steve who turned out to be excellent hosts. We were shown around the property by Steve and then taken to our room. Our room was clean and comfortable with a large en suite including separate bath and shower. The room had tea and coffee, fresh bottled water and biscuits, plentiful towels and bathroom products. Breakfast was an ample choice of cereals, with fresh fruit, yoghurts and fruit juice followed by a generous, well cooked, course using quality ingredients. Donna and Steve go out of ther way to ensure the satisfaction of their guests in a friendly and professional manner and take pride in doing so. We will definitely be visiting again in the future and look forward to doing so!!
