The location is great, 10 mins to the York station, and just next to the gallery and the York Minister. The room is spacious and clean. The receptionists and Staffa are very very friendly.

價格很便宜，距離火車站步行約10分鐘。酒店地下其實是酒吧，我們到達時酒吧尚未開門，裡面也沒有人，過了快半小時，才有員工前來，老闆竟說飲醉了原本是打算不開門的，真無奈啊！WIFI訊號很差，基本上是連不上的。

就在约克城墙边上，走去大教堂几分钟。楼下是酒吧，但不吵。但要寄存行李的注意，11点退房，把锁匙插在门上就可以，行李自行放到旁边员工餐厅。中午有人来搞卫生，但不确定时间。要取行李必须等到下午1点后有人上班。

离大教堂非常近，位置很好，性价比较高。 房子和设施比较陈旧，不过挺干净的，总体还不错。前台设在一楼的酒吧，但是我们中午去的时候酒吧没开，只能先吃了中饭再过来的。

還不錯，只是原本在hotels訂是2晚100鎊，住宿時變120鎊，在店員確認後才以100鎊收取。出入走道有點，其他都很不錯

the location of the hotel is very good. Close to the city center and not far from the train station. however the cleaning and the condition of the hotel is so bad! I cannot sleep in the night, and the service of the hotel is also bad. Wont stay again

The room wasn't very clean (quite a lot of dust), and there were random quilts in random cupboards (not clean ones), and the bedroom window was painted shut, which was frustrating during a heat wave. There were a few unidentified noises of water sloshing or pouring from somewhere, both in the corner of the bedroom and in the bathroom, possibly due to being near a boiler, or just some residue from pipework. So this was a bit annoying through the night. So, the room was very dated and a bit icky (as you'd expect in a pub), but the staff were welcoming and helpful when asked about an issue. And the free breakfast was excellent, and the guy serving our breakfast was first class.

Had a Brilliant 2 night stay here. And the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely stay again

Room looks nothing like the website. Window wouldn’t close. Room either boiling hot or freezing cold… bed uncomfortable with a lean so severe it almost tipped me out. Really poor water pressure in the shower… Taps etc falling apart.

Lovely location. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are a little tired but they are perfectly acceptable as they are clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices are great. They are more than happy to accommodate any needs. We had a planned power cut when there and the staff were very well prepared. They gave us a powerbank, pre charged lights for our room and put heating on to ensure the rooms were warm before it went off. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Would definitely stay here again.

upper floor of a pub, but not too noisy, room is big, a bit worn down, a lot of black mold in the bathroom, breakfast is from 9 to 10, but they accommodated my request for having it at 8/8.30

Lovely, helpful people! The beds were so comfortable with amazing soft sheets. Breakfast was very hearty that one didnt ned lunch. It is above a pub but you couldnt hear the noise below. Karaoke night was so much fun. Very close to everything without being in the center. 10min walk to the train station. 2 min to york minister, the wall and hop on hop off buses. Highly recommend!

Really well located on the doorstep of the city. Had a very friendly welcome and staff were accommodating & helpful throughout. The site said it was LGBTQ friendly and it really was as a LGBT couple celebrating a wedding anniversary we felt very comfortable here. Breakfast was really nice & a decent size. The room was a good size, clean and had a nice view of the art gallery. Evening entertainment was lively & enjoyable. Will be staying here again when we next visit York.

Friendly staff , nice room comfortable

The staff were amazing! Even though the building was old, I didn't mind as it felt authentic and provided a nice town experience. Everything was great, and the staff were very polite. The breakfast was excellent, and there was a fantastic live music experience!

The rooms are above a pub, in a convenient location. They are alongside the York art gallery and a very short walk to the Minster. There are a number of pubs and restaurants within a short walk as you would expect. The White Horse is only around 10 minutes walk from the station on well lit busy streets. I arrived at the hotel about an hour before official check-in time, but the staff were very friendly and managed to get my room ready early while I settled down with an excellent pint (good choice of beers and hand-pulls). Food was also available, but I didn't try any. However, if it is as the good as the breakfast next day, then there should not be any complaints. The room was at the top of a flight of stairs, so be careful if you have very heavy bags. However, although it was a little tired, it was very clean, large, comfortable and warm. There was no noticeable noise from the pub or the traffic. The tea and coffee tray was well stocked, and there was plenty of storage space in the stand alone wardrobe and a separate cupboard. Despite a gap in the window, the bathroom was very warm and there were no problems with the shower. There was even a bath! Breakfast next morning was excellent, with cereals to start and a choice of simple cooked breakfasts to follow. I chose the large, but despite cancelling the toast and baked beans, it still kept me going until the evening. I will consider staying again the next time that I am in York, as the experience was excellent value

Overall, a good stay, the property being within easy walking distance from the train station and the city centre. However, the mattress on the bed was probably quite old as it sank in the middle. We slept ok but it may not be too comfortable for heavy set people.

A nice break away for a few days in York. The hotel is very central right next to Bootham Bar. Room large, cleans and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and large portions. The only problem was no parking on site and having to park at a nearby carpark cost £34 per day !!
