There was 3 of us booked in to stay and we arrived early hours of the morning unfortunately the 3rd bed was not made up there was no spare bedding in the room and no staff in the building so one of us had to sleep with no bedding we did mention this in the morning to staff they were apologetic but at £320 for a night I don’t think that was good enough I felt very disappointed

Property and rooms have very good facilities and were very clean (underfloor heating a bit of a mystery was advised not to touch in advance and didn't... but temp on late night arrival was 23 degrees but by the next morning was a tropical 25.5 degrees) the property location is very isolated with single track roads all around. Breakfast service very military style - extremely well orchestrated and food good and cooked to order but quite formal. They missed the personal friendly approach where you could get suggestions/recommendations on local information on where to go/what to do

Great service, beautiful hotel very clean, and the most amazing breakfast! Can recommend the Eggs Royale :-) I’ll certainly be back!

If you just want to unwind and relax this is the best place to do just that. From arriving to leaving for home everything was perfect. We hope to return in the future.

Enjoyed our stay. We did have trouble adjusting heat switch, it stayed at 20 C and from top floor room we had to hurtle back down to get milk for drinks as we were without a fridge

Lovely in every way

This is a beautiful place to stay. The service and food are outstanding. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

A faultless stay. It was our second time at the White House and it didn't disappoint. The breakfast is the best we've had anywhere. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere. Great location for exploring north Norfolk.

This is truly a 5 star residence. I never return to the same places twice but this one is a ‘must return to’ in the near future. Ps the evening meals are awesome too

Beautiful building very comfortable room with quality bed linen and high end toiletries. Great host and good food. Thoroughly relaxing country house stay. Would recommend and stay longer next time.

An interesting place to review. On the one hand, amazing food and lovely spot. Service is unusual and quite casual, no welcome or check out really just pick and drop keys. Felt it misses out on personal touch but has some nice touches like cakes and coffee/tea in the afternoon. Supper was excellent and chef is top class. Breakfast service was fine but things were always mixed up or incorrect so a bit unreliable, but again couldn't fault the food and things always put right. Room was quite beaten up in terms of walls and needed lick of paint. Hotel was flexible when I needed to move booking, which was very kind. Overall, lovely stay but not sure I'd be back for the price.

I had such a wonderful time for my birthday. Everyone was so kind and nothing was too much We will definitely be back.

The White House is fabulous. Everyone is so friendly and the decor and setting are stunning. The food is delicious - we loved the Wednesday supper and dining in The Acre restaurant. The complementary homemade cookies and cake in the afternoon were a lovely touch. We can’t wait to stay again.
