What a beautiful setting, beautiful gardens and quiet. Close to many gorgeous places but we could have happily just stayed on the property. Generous hosts (Lesley and Johnny). Stairs in the barn are steep and roads narrow but would throughly recommend it ❤️

Lovely little cottage in perfect position next to a beautiful lake yet still so close to the beautiful Praa sands beach. Lovely big summerhouse right by the lake to use. Only a few miles drive into Porthleven for great restaurants or Helston for a supermarket shop.

There was nothing to dislike about this property. Friendly hosts, beautifully kept gardens. Spotlessly clean & decor perfect.

The Barn is a lovely clean cottage in beautiful surroundings. Leslie and Johnny are perfect hosts.

Very relaxing place. Terrific hosts. Extremely quiet and requires a car.

Genuinely great welcoming hosts; the perfect mix of being there but not overly fussing. Beautifully kept gardens and a real feeling of safe homeliness. We cooked every evening and found the equipment provided did the job well. Mattress was perfect for us but you may want to consider earplugs if you’d like to sleep longer than the cacophony of dawn chorus loving birds would like. Shower and central heating excellent. For us the serenity of the lake view was the icing on a pretty good cake.

We could not have asked for any more. Everything you needed was there including a lovely welcome gift of quality eggs, bread, milk, butter, biscuits and jams. There were also extras for use such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tea, coffee, salt and pepper and sugar. Also all the usual cleaning materials and toilet rolls was unlimited. The list is endless. The hosts are lovely and have really spared no expense on the quality of everything. Towels, linen and robes were really white and of such good quality as was the bed. Such a beautiful place in a lovely setting and so immaculate. The garden room overlooking the lake is really pretty. We have no complaints whatsoever. We will be book again.

Lovely hosts, couldn’t have been more attentive. Lovely place and outdoor area. Milk, OJ, bread and eggs provided. Well places for Porthleven, Penzance and st ives. Really enjoyed our stay!

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in paradiesicher Umgebung. Diese Lage war für uns perfekt. Direkt an einem kleinen See mit riesigem Garten. Alles sehr gepflegt und mit Liebe gestaltet. Die Gastgeber, die ebenfalls dort wohnen, sind sehr herzlich und stehen einem gerne mit tollen Tipps zur Seite. Mit dem Auto sind auch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar. Das Ferienhaus hat viel Charme und ist sehr hochwertig und schön eingerichtet. Die Betten sind super bequem Für uns war es eine traumhafte Woche und wir können hier eine TOP Empfehlung aussprechen
