房間在2樓，沒有電梯，退房後沒有寄放行李，行李要寄放到遊客中心(1個很大的locker，可以放2個大行李箱，當日17:00要拿走，收費 6英鎊)，這2點比較不方便，其他整體都不錯

5月に同宿に宿泊したらしき日本人の手書きのThanksメッセージがダイニングに飾られていました。もし、自分だったらと思うとかなり恥ずかしい状態でした。晩御飯を部屋で食べてもいいのですが、暖かい食べ物の持ち込み禁止とのことでした。詳しく聞いてみましたが、フィッシュ&チップスやピザのテイクアウトは部屋に匂いが残るからとのことです。お陰でずっとスーパーのサンドイッチを食べていましたが、ポットがあったので、粉スープでも持っていけば良かったです。

Host was very friendly and accommodating and very helpful and understanding as well in our situation where we were granted for an early check-in. She makes the best bread in the morning too!

Jo was warm and welcoming. The place was immaculate and homey. Breakfast was fantastic!!

Jo, the host who are very nice and friendly. Location is in the town centre, few minutes walk from the train station. The property is aged, but Jo maintain everything in good condition and tidy. The breakfast is good also. Compare the prices with the neighborhood, I will say it's value for money.

We had a lovely stay at Westbury House, Jo was lovyand very welcoming. The room was a good size clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and cooked to perfection and the bread was delicious. Would highly recommend. Definitely would return

The house was absolutely lovely and in such a perfect spot to explore Windermere and surrounding towns. Jo was an amazing host- I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area

Hyvällä & rauhallisella sijainnilla oleva perinteinen B&B-tyyppinen majoitus. Kävelymatkan päässä rautatieasemalta ja aivan Windermeren kahviloiden&kauppojen tuntumassa. Majatalon emäntä Jo on ystävällinen ja aamiainen on runsas ja maukas. Huoneessamme oli isot ikkunat talon edessä olevaan puistoon. Huoneessa olevat WC/pesutilat ovat liukuovet takana ja suht simppelit, mutta riittävät. Voin suositella!

Lovely land lady

The was one of the most cozy b&b we have ever stayed at. We have stayed in 40 hotels this year alone, and Jo made our stay one of the most wonderful experiences. If I am in the lake district I know I will come back here. Thanks again.

House was accesible to train station, public bus and a park across the house. Host was knowleable on various sights and eateries.

Our host was very gracious and welcoming. The room was large and very comfortable. We loved how close it was to the train station and restaurants. It was easy to start long hikes in the area. Highly recommended!

Convenient and comfortable and Jo was so helpful and kind

The room was compact but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was exactly what we expected and not disappointing in anyway. The corridor and stairway was not well lit. My only bugbear was that the property was listed as free parking but in reality, it is street parking and the luck of the draw if you can find a space nearby. I think free parking should mean that the owner can provide somewhere to park. This is more an issue for Hotels.com than for the property owner.

Trevligt, rent och mycket god frukost.

Both enjoyed a few days at Westbury House and greeted by the owner with a lovely warm smile. Felt it was home from home, very professional and friendly. Food was brilliant. Room was clean and provided everything we needed.

Jo was really friendly, and provided great service with a fun sense of humour. She also went above and beyond when I had to check out early, meaning I'd miss breakfast, so she provided a packed lunch for my trip home.
