There is a smell that comes from the room or toilet. The bed is very small

I have no comments about the property, everything was great, the property, location, staff especially the food was so delicious

The staff were super friendly.They even gave me a wonderful birthday present (upgrading my room) 😍and they made me a small birthday party by bringing a cake to my room and singing to me 💜

The staff were warm and welcoming right from the entrance. They assisted my mum and me with her luggage, and check-in was quick despite a temporary power outage, which was beyond their control. The room was a comfortable size for two, and overall, we had no issues.

No AC or fan. Room very hot at night, and when you leave windows open for some ventilation insects gets into the room and you can’t have a comfortable night sleep. Asked for a fan and they said they did not have, ended up leaving early before my planned check out and went to another hotel.

Do not be fooled, this is NOT a four star hotel. We had a terrible stay at this hotel in early May 2005. We expected a normal hotel but this was very much below our standards. There is also NO air conditioning so the room was too hot to sleep in, and the street outside was so noisy so it is difficult to leave the balcony door open. The balcony door did not close properly tho, so we were still disturbed by the street noise / construction going on just outside. Before arriving we e-mailed the hotel two times to book the airport pickup. They did not reply to the e-mails. They list a few phone numbers on their website but do not seem to work. When we finally could reach them they told us the driver would meet us in the arrival hall with a sign with my name on it. He did not. After a terrible first nights sleep we asked the reception to change room. After waiting a while they told us we were in "the best room" already and could not understand why we would want to change room. Eventually they allowed us to change rooms if we paid extra, which we did. Only ONE (!!) elevator was working during our stay, so expect 10-15 minute wait ech time. The breakfast in the top floor restaurant was so chaotic and bad that we left and did not go back the other mornings. At check-out the staff suddenly wanted to charge us for two extra bottles on water because we had changed rooms, even though we changed rooms because the first one was so terrible we could not stay in it. Laughable but true.

Everything works for me except that the Elevators are two small boxes for the entire building. I stand 12 minutes to get into one. Just pray there is no fire or emergency that you need to get out of that building fast. Otherwise, I like the service, cleanliness, and everything else.

Its nice and clean. Friendly workers. The service is good. And the location is perfect. Because it's center of the city

Poor in everything

The rooftop area was excellent for entertainment. Nice ambiance up on the rooftop with live music and djs occasionally. The cleaning staff didn't clean my room 2 of the 4 days. The breakfast which was included was served cold without burners keeping the food warm. Check out process took me about an hour. That's unacceptable.

It was ok, but surely will be difficult to consider for another stay, the Location is the top advantage

The staff were relatively friendly. But I did not like the fact that it’s noisy all the time. There was construction going on at all times, I felt restless.

The monarch has a fantastic view of the city and the staff at the place were very accommodating. Joseph was particularly professional and allways apeared just at the right time to answer questions and be super helpful! Thanks Monarch and Joseph

The area is unfinished and dirty and the room has smelled. This hotel needs attention to its cleanliness.

Love this place it is our home away from home! My only complaint is that there is lots of construction going on around the hotel which make it a little difficult getting in and out of transportation.
