The room was clean. Toilet leaking water on the floor. Shower water pressure was good in the day but at night was weak and no hot water. The guests in the room next door were very noisy. They may have been drinking till late. Bed was okay. Towels could be better they supposed to be white towels but very old. Breakfast was okay. The hotel is very old.

Dirty room, mosquitoes in the room, no shampoos

This hotel has so much potential - if only management puts more training in place for staff!! Especially housekeeping- my room still had dirty dishes ,bathroom sink was not clean!! I even asked to change the bed linen just to be sure!! Very disappointing that this was the new wing , expected more !! I stayed 2 nights(Sat/Sunday ) room downstairs partied all night!! Beer bottled littered the common area by the pool - dirty tables not cleaned from night of drinking !! But hotel is in a good area in town by the river ,walking distance to town and the market . Owner and management please be proud of this historic hotel in Labasa

Swimming pool was not for Swimming told by staff

Everything was ok except the pool which was dirty

We looked forward to the colonial style property.It has dated, we didn't mind that , however felt some attention needed to be paid to things like securing powerpoint near the bed better. We loved the water view. Walu fish for dinner was rubbery, maybe a limited menu would ensure good standard of produce. Reception and restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was a very large group of about 25 who arrived after us so our dessert was going to be very delayed, so we skipped dessert. The wiat staff kindly offered to bring dessert to our room, we declined due to time taken for delivery. The access to shops is a great plus and gardens are well maintained. It would be good to close swimming pool access by say 9.00pm as the noise from pool area did continue to a bit after 10.00am.

be careful- don't book this hotel through wikipedia - we booked n payed for the deluxe room but they gave us the standard room and no refund- not right

The space was really dirty, furnitures and bathroom were falling apart. The hotel and space around was really noisy.
