It was nice.

The staff were very helpful. One member staff Loana was very helpful as it was just me and my daughter and I had broken my arm.

Great location. Facility old and tired.

Staff very friendly and breakfast was great. Super location but extremely dated property - very old and needs a major revamp.

Excellent spot

We just stayed 1 night so we weren't looking for a spectacular hotel. However, for the cost we expected more than what we got. The location and complimentary breakfast options were very good. The staff could have been a bit more friendly and the hotel definitely needs an upgrade. Especially in the rooms like the beds and showers.

Scandic Polar is an old hotel what need full restauration but is good enough for holliday,excellent staff and breakfast is very good.i will come again here if the price will be ok

Excellent location, felt safe. Was clean, warm, cosy, and friendly helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. A little dated but part of its history ( pictures of how it looked many years ago on walls) and feature. Everything we needed as a base

The staff were friendly and the room was spacious. However there are a lot of rooms that are not accessible by lift, and very often tourists had to carry their luggage’s up and down the long staircases, which is very often not easy to do. So be careful when selecting this hotel - if you’re travelling with wheelchairs or heavy luggages, maybe another hotel would be better. If not, Scandic Polar is perfect.

I did not stay at the scandic polar as it was closed. I stay at the scandic pohanjovi instead. This was a more picturesque . Location perfect with busses stopping outside. Also on new yeats eve , i did not have to go outside . This is a four star hotel. It has a pool and sauna. I did not use either mainly because of covid and i was outside most of tbe time.

Friendly service and a bowl of candy with a hand written/drawn card in the room as a welcome gift made up for otherwise worn down and outdated hotel.

Room was not on the lift level so have to carry luggage up and down the stairs very tiring. The hotel was also out dated.

The food is pretty good and the service is quite friendly.

The hotel is old and dated. But beds were comfortable. If you are looking just to sleep and have no need of other amenities, then this hotel would do. On the plus side, the location is very good.

the room is very spacious.the hotel is conveniently located next to the bus stop for santa claus express too. however, we can hear people talking and laughing on the streets at night which disturbs our sleep. overall, it's a nice hotel

The midnight night receptionist On 27/3/18 is very polite and arrange my early check out and give me second courtesy morning call to make sure I don’t miss my early departure flight . Thank you

The lobby area looks pretty old fashion, but once you get to the room, it's very modern and up to date. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast buffet was great. I'd stay there again.

stop over on way to meeting

We stay at a triple room with 3 single beds, the room is quite large and spacious. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Location is also good and easy to everywhere of city center on foot. Overall is good and be recommended!
