Peppery was under renovation, which was not known at the time of booking. Temporary reception & dinning set up. Access to rooms was from the outside via the basement. No elevators & steep circular stairs. Pavement outside was extremely uneven & as it was raining, lots of deep puddles & mud. Room was basic and set up like a dormitory style. The hotel is ranked 4 star and did not meet expectations at all.

This hotel did not match the price they are charging. The rooms are outdated and the bathroom was like something out of a bad movie.. tiles were old and dirty and and the toilet had stains. On top of this the room had a smell of sewerage. The bed was comfortable though. For the money you can do better.

Hotel is at a nice location but is in need of some renovation. Breakfast is excellent and a la carte menu in restaurant is good too.

Mostly OK, but the hotel seemed too busy for the number of staff working ans service was very slow. In the room, we could not get a comfortable temperature at all which didn't help with sleep when we needed an early start.

Good location, if you are with car. Good breakfast spread. Might get bored if staying for more days, since there was no variation in the spread. Basic clean rooms, but aged.

Best Hotel

Was there for on site training. Hotel is old and while kept cleaned, it shows its age. Hotel is right by the water which is pretty but not on the city center, if that is what you are looking for. It is next to a water park which would probably be the main reason to stay there if that is what you are doing.

The Superior room was big and ok with 2 twin-beds (don't plan to use them as a single-bed, they will move away), a sofa, a table, a desk, a minibar,... all what you can find in this kind of bedroom. The bathroom was quite small but enough. The hotel itself was very quiet, and you get a free access to the spa which was very boring and empty. I guess that during weekends and holidays the hotel and spa are full and noisy. The corridors inside the hotel look endless. You will have walk a lot. The parking places are free but the surrounding is dead. You need to take your car if you want to have a drink or a meal outside of the hotel, downtown. The staff was pleasant but the hotel itself looked cold and dead.
