This was an amazing find.
A hotel close enough to Caen ferry and Normandy coast easily accessible. Just what we were looking for. But it got better, check in simple, parking area was secured by a gate over night so very safe for motorbike.
Our room not huge, but big enough for what was needed, no complaints. Clean with a kettle. Shower, hot water great.
Breakfast was nice enough but not outstanding, usual fair no more. BUT we had an early ferry on second day and asked if it was possible to provide a breakfast pack up to take to ferry, the lady on reception ( sorry didn't get her name) was very helpful offered to provide something. The 'sonething' turned up in our bedroom night before and was an amazing spread. Thank you for this service, it was wonderful.
Evening bar was nice after a long bike ride along the coast in high temps. Beers, wines and other offerings.
Stay here again? Yes certainly. without doubt.

The room was ridiculously small with hardly room to stand. Two single beds crammed in and hurt my head hitting it on the light over the bed because of its position.
There was not a restaurant in the hotel and the dining place recommended, within a 3 minute walk, had a large open plan seating area catering for parties and many people with counters from which various foods could be ordered and paid for and then collected by you when ready.
My steak was an absolute apology and totally unacceptable. It was overcooked almost impossible to cut even with a sharp knife and mostly gristle. I left most of it so would not recommend ordering that. The housewife was for us, not a good choice.
Most disappointed after a lovely break in France and expecting a nice final stop and meal before catching the ferry. We will certainly not stay in similar Brit Hotels again. David Daniels
