I spent 4 days in the central hotel and had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly and the location superb. There are 4 metro stations all in 2-5 walk to the hotel. A lot of restaurants and supermarket around but not very noisy at night. Breakfast is cheap and totally worth your money. Only trouble I had was the card reader on the door rang out of battery and I had to change room on the 3rd night. The new room was smaller and with poorer wifi connection. However, the staff was very helpful and did everything in their power to assist. So all in all, it was a wonderful experience. I'm definitely coming ack.

Many cafes close by. The train station is 2 blocks away. Sights are walkable distance (Notre Dam, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Seine river excursions).
There is construction going on at this time but they stop by 1700 and do not start again until 0900.

Dated and slightly stuffy hotel and facilities in a great location for the station. We like the area around Montparnasse lively atmosphere. The adjoining room for a family of 4 suited us.
