Outstanding view and comfortable place! Hotel serves delicious food in cave restaurant. Reasonable price to stay in a castle!!!

chambre correspondant au descriptif (avec une superbe vue) endroit vraiment atypique qui mérite d'être connu diner très bon (un peu cher mais la terrasse était vraiment agréable)

Hotel plein de charme avec un mélange d'historique extérieur et dans la chambre mais aussi de modernité dans la partie sanitaire et la qualité de l'accueil et du restaurant. Un excellent moment passé dans ce lieu plein d'histoire. Merci pour tout.

Property gives a unique chateau experience not to be found in a hotel. Very beautiful remote location with excellent views and sunsets. Great service. Very relaxing get away.

Fabulous location and not sure if it’s a chateau or castle - but it is an amazing location, has brilliant staff and the food is exquisite - chef is one of the owners and you can tell it’s his passion…

Unique castle

The Medieval Castle was beautiful and the views are spectacular. Hortense was such a pleasant to deal with. She makes sure we have everything we have, answered all our questions and very welcoming. The food was delicious, we would go back.

Very unique location! Excellent locally sourced breakfast from the village. The food was a great experience with new and innovative dishes! If you are looking for a fun new experience in a historic castle, I would recommend.

Un vrai château avec une ambiance chaleureuse. Les salons sont très agréables, cosy, le restaurant est convivial avec une cuisine très bonne, des vins de qualités, de très bons produits. La chambre de la tour est très grande. Les terrasses extérieures sont superbes.

Magnificent stay at the Trigance Castle. We miss it already! Perfect location next to the Verdon canyon, near the start of the best hiking spots in the area and fun activities you can find around Castellane. The view from the castle is astonishing, the food is delicious and the hotel team is very nice. You'll find there a unique ambient in this old medieval castle on top of a lovely little village. I personally really enjoyed the nights on the roof terrace watching the full moon and the ballet of the nighthawks, lying on a lounge chair, with a glass of Farigoule (local thyme liquor). The only bad point was the wasps on the terraces during the day. I believe it was new for the owners and I'm sure they will take care of that in the near future. Also, installing the air conditioning in the bedrooms would add some comfort for the guests.

Having read many reviews I was not sure what to expect from the Chateau. It certainly looked impressive as we approached (it can be seen from miles away) and it looked equally impressive close up. Some say it is not really an old Castle, but parts of the building does date back many hundreds of years, and the 1970's renovations that brought it back in to use have been sympathetic the original style so it is a winner in my opinion. Some may feel the lack of original 800 year old artefacts and furniture in the rooms is a let-down, but we enjoyed the efforts of the owners to provide a taste of the past - combined with running water and en-suite bathroom ;-) Our room was also very large and spacious with great views from the windows, it was also clean and comfortable. The food was also very good, and we particularly enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. in the morning.
