Les 3 chambres réservées etaient parfaites, joliment décorées, linge impeccable. Le personnel sympatique , à l'ecoute et de bon conseil. Je recommande cet hotel

The room was excellent but 15€ each for breakfast was very expensive

Small room up in the eves of the hotel . I wanted to be on floor below . Not helpful .

Hôtel agréable et bien situé, avec du caractère. Les retours des questions ne sont pas immédiates, nous avons eu un appel après avoir posé la même question 3 fois. Les horaires sont plutôt contraignants, avec un check in à partir de 15 h et un check out à 11h. Le petit déjeuner s’arrêtant à 10h même le dimanche matin. Être réveillé par le personnel de ménage qui génère de grosse nuisances sonores est particulièrement désagréable. Le tarif payé représente le double du tarif affiché à la réception… Une bouilloire avec un peu de café et de thé aurait été apprécié.

Lovely hotel in a great location for visiting the Abbey, exploring the Loire valley, wine tasting, or simply breaking up a long journey. The restaurant is excellent, although the breakfast looked underwhelming. The pool and parking are a great asset. Our second stay and we will return.

Great location. Historic building. Good mix of historical features and modernity in lounges and dining area. Helpful, friendly staff. Dining experience very good. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay at La Croix Blanche.

Eau tiède dans la douche et le radiateur ne chauffait pas en mars...(radiateur d'appoint mise en place). Sans compter le repas du soir où on me demande le type de cuisson (appoint) et on se retrouve avec un steak ultra-cuit. Isolation phonique inexistante.

Séjour agréable, accueil très sympathique, environnement immédiat superbe. Nous avons trouvé une chambre bien équipée, confortable et propre. Literie confortable. Nous avons dîné au restaurant de l’hôtel, très agréable la carte est suffisamment variée le service efficace pour des tarifs raisonnables. Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Petit bémol, une rénovation des menuiseries donnant sur l’extérieur apporterait une réelle amélioration du confort thermique. Pour ne pas terminer notre commentaire sur cette note, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet établissement et nous pourrions le recommander à des amis.

Beautiful old hotel

Hôtel restaurant en plein centre, accueil très sympathique, chambre correcte, petit déjeuner correct, restaurant bien.

Hôtel très bien placé ; appel pour nous proposer de réserver une table au restaurant. Conseil à la réception pour profiter d’une nocturne à l’abbaye. Très bien. Petit déjeuner mériterait d’être un peu plus généreux.

We really liked this very pretty and comfortablel hotel, we had a lovely time there, the pool was a welcome sight as it was hot while were there. The room was comfortable and very clean with a good shower etc. The restaurant was also really good. A special thank you to the ladies on reception for being so welcoming and helpful. We hope to return again soon. A small thing that would be nice in the room would be tea/coffee making facilities. We highly recommended this hotel.

Everything was top-class. We are never disappointed. Beautiful dining experience.

Séjour très agréable, personnel très accueillant très bonne expérience

The reception staff were super helpful before and during our stay, advising us how to get to the hotel from the nearest train station (and recommending a cab company since they needed to be ordered in advance). We were warmly welcomed and super pleased with our rooms, which were beautiful, modern, well thought-out and very comfortable. The lounge areas were cozy and reflected the historic building that houses the hotel. Our dinner in the peaceful courtyard linking the hotel with its adjoining restaurant was delicious, and the service friendly. The breakfast buffet next morning was extensive and included cook-your-own soft-boiled eggs and the best croissants, plus (house-made?) lox salmon. The only downside was that the hot weather required us to sleep with our windows open. Unfortunately, this subjected us to the noise from the restaurant kitchen as the staff finished tidying up after closing. If we'd been able to keep our windows closed, it wouldn't have been an issue. Other than that, I can't say enough good things about this delightful hotel.
