Fabulous location (but parking difficult), bathroom door didn’t fit the hole!? Repeated banging of doors in the morning.

Bad start - drove through the maze to drop off bags, asked hotel person (hard to identify since it's also a restaurant) for advice on where to park, and he said he had no idea at all. As parking is clearly an issue in St. Malo, he should've had some idea. We finally figured something reasonable out after 40 minutes of trying to get back out of town. Second - no AC, which is fine, but if you opened windows the noise from the bar went on late into the night. We asked about a fan, and they said they didn't have any, a first in my years of travel in Europe. Third- the bathroom is dark, and it looked like the bulb above the mirror was dying. We asked to get a new bulb, and they said yes but never did it. I'm sure they understood our request. Fourth - literally the only place to hang a towel in the bathroom was on a tiny towel rack/heater. It was impossible to be "eco-friendly".

I'm going to mention the positives and negatives to be fair. Positives: first, the location of the hotel is amazing it's near the bus stop and a lot of restaurants and café and bars. 2nd, the bed is comfortable. 3rd the room is decorated very well and the colors and lighting are good. Negatives: 1st, the reception was not welcoming he seemed angry or upset for some reason which is disappointing. 2nd, the card to open the door did not work so we had to carry a key the whole time. 3rd, cleaning lady was also upset for some reason and speaks very loud. 4th, we got half used toilet paper rolls which was used by the guests before us, that was seriously bad and unhealthy especially these days. 5th, the bathroom seat was full of spots... I have no clue what we're those spots but I prefer not to think about it. 6th, we had to buy cleaning spray from the supermarket and cleaned the bathroom ourselves since the staff were angry and unwelcoming we didn't feel comfortable talking to them or asking them to clean again.7th, we had to keep the window and the curtains closed since there was construction right above the window so a lot of dirts and dust were there. 8th, the reception was going to charge us again when we were checking out but we already paid during checking in, it's like they don't keep a good system so you have to be really careful with them especially when you are paying with credit cards. We were there for one night and we paid 83 euros so it was a big disappointment.

Super séjour, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil, l’emplacement, le confort et la restauration.

It was very comfortable and pleasant stay. The service was correct and the room was clean. Best for a short stay to get away from your busy life.

Établissement très bien situé. Chambre au calme mais c’était une chambre non rénovée : odeur de renfermé, carrelage collant sous les pieds, sanitaire et salle de bain vraiment vieux. Cela a gâché le fait qu’il soit bien placé. Peu de choix au petit déjeuner mais produits frais.

Très bon accueil et belle chambre refaite entièrement à neuf et avec goût. L'hôtel est idéalement situé en plein centre ville et proche des parkings extérieurs aux remparts.

Séjour agréable. On aurait préféré utiliser l’ascenseur à notre arrivée avec une grosse valise pour monter au 2ème étage mais il fallait suivre la personne qui nous montrait notre chambre. Hôtel propre et bien placé dans SAINT MALO intra-muros

Sejour d'une nuit agréable. Bonne literies. Personnel tres sympa. Petit bémol petit déjeuner un peu cher pour la prestation proposé

Déçu de la chambre très exiguë, je ne m’attendais pas à cela en réservant (au vue des photos et avis clients), peut être s’agissait il d’une chambre pas encore rénovée... odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain (remontée d’égout), moisissure à certains endroits au dessus de la tête de lit sur le mur et entre les joints dans la douche. Concernant le petit déjeuner, très peu fournie et de ce fait très cher (pas de salé et très peu de choix). Pour ma part Cet hôtel n’a de positif que son emplacement.....

Hotel très bien situé. Très bon accueil. Nous avons eu une chambre superbe et grande a deux pas de la mer. Restaurant excellent, Je recommande cet hotel

The staff are always pleasant and efficient. Check in was easy and the meal very good value for money. Location good if you want away from crowds and peaceful at night.

Chambre beaucoup plus petite que ne laissait entendre le descriptif, salle de bain exiguë, pas de tapis de bain ni sèche cheveux, robinet tellement court qu'il faut l'ouvrir à fond pour que l'eau coule dans le lavabo ! Ascenseur aux demi-étages préhistorique;.. Bref,hôtel très vieillot, bien situé et qui mériterait une bonne rénovation. Seule la salle de restaurant est belle.

L'amabilité de préparer une chambre même si le nombre de personne sur la réservation était erroné
