We had an amazing stay- just walking around the village and eating good food. The hotel was right in front of the pond and had a amazing view of the castle.

La chambre et Sdb propres et confortables. Belle situation près du lac et du chateau. Mais c'est surtout la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel qu'il faut souligner y compris dans la partie restaurant

Le confort de la chambre est très cosi et les différents repas que propose la restauration est adaptée pour tous les clients. Un accueil très chaleureux et nous met en confiance

Superbe sejour avec cue sur château et lac, tres beau liru

Séjour étape d'une nuit pour visiter le château. La chambre sur cour pour 3 personnes était confortable, le personnel aimable, l'accès dans la soirée facile.

The owner of the hotel was excellent. The rooms were spotless, a really comfy bed and good amenities in the room. The evening meal was outstanding and the breakfast was also excellent. It’s a lovely hotel with exceptional service

The view from the front windows!!! There are no words. A BEAUTIFUL view overlooking a small lake, a charming village and a huge castle in the background.

Uniek en zeer charmant. Ligging bij bos en dorpje met kasteel is prachtig.

Un séjour idyllique face au lac et au château L'hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement exceptionnel, avec une vue imprenable sur le lac et le château. La chambre, très confortable, offrait un panorama magnifique. Les propriétaires et le personnel sont d'une grande gentillesse, rendant l’accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Le château, majestueux, mérite absolument une visite. Bien qu’il ne soit pas meublé, cela permet de mieux apprécier les volumes, les jeux de lumières et d’imaginer librement son histoire et son atmosphère. Le village est charmant.

Équipe formidable, restaurant de qualité, hébergement très confortable, propreté irréprochable, un hôtel authentique chaleureux et familial. à recommander. Un site remarquable et un point de vue exceptionnel sur le château. Un séjour parfait Merci!

Expérience bien moyenne. La chambre était vraiment minuscule, et le lit peu confortable pour ma taille (1m89). L’insonorisation est limitée donc il faut prévoir en conséquence. La douche était également minuscule, non adaptée à toutes les corpulences. Heureusement que le pommeau lumineux m’a prévenu que j’étais un grand gaspilleur d’eau, même si ce n’est pas lui qui m’a précipité dehors : c’est plutôt la claustrophobie et le risque de débordement du bac, complètement bouché. J’ai au moins pu réaliser, couleur bleue à l’appui, que l’eau chaude a mis 20 litres à arriver. Mais c’est moi qui culpabilise quand même… Bon. C’était le risque de la réservation de dernière minute. Le personnel est sympa, le restaurant du soir est très bien. Petit déjeuner qui fait le taff. La vue sur le château est jolie, par temps dégagé !

Excellent accueil dans ce charmant hôtel à proximité du lac et du superbe château de Pierrefond ; chambre très confortable, soigneusement décorée ; salle d’eau très propre et bien équipée ; restaurant très sympa proposant des plats savoureux ; petit déjeuner appétissant … un superbe séjour !

Que ce soit la chambre très confortable et agréable avec une belle vue sur le chateau au restaurant où nous avons très bien mangé, ce fut un magnifique séjour que je referai avec grand plaisir.

This property is made by the staff - so warm and welcoming and friendly in every interaction we had. The restaurant is very good and the views from the room was amazing. This is a wonderful hotel to enjoy a very special part of France.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great little hotel in lovely location. Small rooms but have everything you need and comfortable bed. We had a lovely view of the castle from our room. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. Even helped us to park our motorbikes securely which we really appreciated.

Loved the location and the property, which dates to 1830. So the hotel has seen a lot of history, including serving as the headquarters and the hospital and recovery area for the U.S. 2nd Division (combined Marine and Army brigades) after the Battle of Soissons. The traditional French village is at the base of a hill on which rises a magnificent castle. The lake is beautiful. If you don’t speak French, no problem, the front desk manager speaks perfect English. The rooms are on the older side but the bed was extremely comfortable and we could open the big windows and get a wonderful breeze off the lake. The breakfasts were excellent and parking was easy. Quite a pleasant stay.

Beautiful small hotel in the L'Oise national part in a lovely village with a castle and boating lake. Good base for a short break in the area.
