Could not make it to the hotel because one of the people in the party got very ill. With your help we tried to change the date of stay, but the hotel refused, citing terms and conditions. We will be going to that area of the Country again. We will not stay in that hotel

Fint hotel som bas för vandring i bergen. På gränsen till Frankrike, så sväng inte fel med hyrbilen om du inte får lämna Spanien! Otroligt hjälpsam personal. Ok spansk frukost. Kallskuret, yoghurt bröd lite frukt och kaffe Tea juice. Vi prova inte restaurangen, utan gick på hotellets rekommenderar. Jättebra restauranger uppe i centrum. Bra utomhuspool där vi lämna tonåringen när hon inte ville vandra i bergen. Smidigt hotell med parkering, nära till utfarten ut stan. Hotellet ligger ca 800 m från centrum. Dock med 70 höjdmeter upp till stan. Enkelt när vi gick hem, tuff backe till centrum. Vi kommer tillbaka. -personalen -poolen -smidig parkering -bra rum.

Hotel was a surprise given its 3 star classification. Excellent restaurant, friendly and professional staff. Value for money.

The Hotel del Prado is truly wonderful. The staff are helpful and kind, the hotel and rooms are comfortable and clean, and the hotel has a wonderful yard and an indoor lounge for relaxing. The location is convenient for activities in and around Puigcerda. And there is a full-service restaurant on-site. Enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this hotel.

El desayuno un poco lento, por lo demás bien

We arrived after a long day on road bikes. Cold and tired we were were looking forward to relaxing in the featured jacuzzi. This was closed and staff were unable to heat sauna. Pool was freezing. Apart from this the stay was ok. Staff was friendly. Rooms clean. Covid-restricted breakfast unimpressive but ok.

I would like to stay at this hotel again, but on the far side from the road. The good: the pool and garden are lovely spots. The less good: during summer, there is no AC in the room so you have to open the windows. The traffic on the nearby road was so loud at times that I couldn’t hear somebody else in the room talking. At night the outside traffic made it difficult to sleep. I’d stay again if I knew I could sleep away from the buildings or anytime besides summer.

Hotel excelente. Muy confortable, buen servicio, desayuno buenisimo con zumo de naranja natural. Totalmente recomendable, repetiremos.

Seul bémol, dommage que pour un hôtel situé à la "Frontière" Franco-Catalane que toutes les chambres ne soient pas équipées de TV avec chaînes Françaises et Canal sat. La chambre est confortable et très propre. Concernant le restaurant et connaissant bon nombre de tables dans le secteur, les 2 fourchettes au Michelin sont amplement méritées. Un service parfait,attentionné avec François, le Maître d'hôtel et une très bonne liaison avec la cuisine. Le Foie gras préparé par le Chef est exceptionnel et mérite une étoile Michelin sans oublier la fraîcheur du Turbot et l'excellente Morue (Bacalao) à l'encre de Calamars et petits légumes. De ce fait, je ne peux qu'inviter mes Amis à venir déguster cette cuisine.

Pedimos una cama doble aunque nos subió el precio y acertamos porque nos encantó. Colchón, almohadas y sábanas muy cómodas. Calefacción correcta y sin problemas. El baño muy completo. Las vistas también nos gustaron aunque daban a la parte trasera del parking. A mejorar: por una parte los desayunos porque hay demasiado embutido y echamos en falta la cocina, por ejemplo para desayunar caliente, tortitas o tortilla a la francesa. También debería mejorar la luz de los pasillos porque también pueden ahorrar con sensores de movimiento. Y encontrar los interruptores en plena oscuridad por la noche fue complicado. Pero me gustó y lo recomendaría.
