I am surely coming back to this hotel! The location is perfect; close both to the train station and the city, but still very calm and safe. All the personnel - reception, restaurant, cleaning- were incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good, the bed was the most comfortable and although the room wasn’t large, it was perfectly planned so it didn’t feel cramped. This hotel isn’t luxurious, but more than worth the price. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt!

Fangen wir mit dem Positiven an: sehr gute und ruhige Lage. Bequemes Bett und Kissen. Wasserspeier gut.
Nicht gut:
Kleines, dunkles Zimmer, was nicht gut gereinigt war. Es war staubig und die Bettwäsche nicht wirklich sauber. Das Bad ist klein und die Dusche winzig mit Duschvorhang und gammeligen Ecken. An einem Tag hatten wir extra ein Bitte nicht stören Schild ans Zimmer gehangen und das Personal ist dennoch ins Zimmer gegangen, um das Bett zu machen. Wozu dann das Schild?!
Das Personal spricht teilweise kein Wort Englisch. Insbesondere das jüngere Personal wirkt gelangweilt und ist unfreundlich.
Das Frühstück ist unterdurchschnittlich: kein Gemüse (als ich danach fragte, bot man mir glutenfreies Brot und Sojamilch als Alternative an). Kleine Auswahl und wenn man später kommt, ist vieles schon weg.

In the center of Metz and walkable to just about anything you want
Restaurant's, shopping, history, river, parks, etc. Really great location.
Staff spoke English and was very friendly and helpful Parking garage was only 1 block away and cost $ 9 E a night with is a deal for a city. Room was very small but clean.
Overall good experience with this hotel location and city We would stay again here

L'accueil à été minimal, le parking annoncé en libre service correspond à un parking payant à trouver nous mêmes.
Le personnel au petit déjeuner est assez désagréable.

Idéalement situé, nous fréquentons cet hôtel depuis plusieurs années, nous n’avons jamais été déçu. Le personnel est aux petits soins, le petit déjeuner copieux. Pour nous tout est parfait.

The room was a bit tight, but comfortable. The room did get a bit warm at night, so we slept with the window open to keep it comfortable. It is non-smoking but we found smoke (marijuana) in the hallways and at times strong enough to creep into the room. Not one seemed to complain, and we did not want to cause waves. Julia was very helpful and told us what to see, what to do, and where to eat. She has great customer service skills. Breakfast has an assortment of items and we loved the bread and cheeses. But there were also eggs, bacon, and cereals. The hotel is just on the edge of the old town area, so shops start about 15 meters away, and you can find cafes, restaurants, chocolate shops, and clothes stores all within walking distance. Plus the buses travel everywhere, we were able to go both north and south, east and west for several miles just exploring. Bus stop just a few meters away, and train station about 1/2 km.
