I’d wanted to make the most out of our Alsace trip so I’d booked two Alsatian hotels. Having stayed at both, I can definitely say this hotel wins hands-down. It was very comfortable, room was impeccably clean (with an overzealous cleaner 😂), and room was sound-proof too! I left the speakers on and went out of the room but I couldn’t hear it from the outside. The only reason why I pushed down the service rating a bit was because we had a run-in with the hotel owner as we were a bit late for the check-in (they close at 8pm), but we’d managed to resolve it at the end and she was even nice enough to send us a goodbye text as she wasn’t at the counter when we checked out. Will definitely come back to this hotel when we re-visit Alsace.

The staff were amazing; special thanks to Ms. Fabienne who, as hotel manager, ensured we had everything we needed, and helped make our stay delightful. She is super meticulous organized, and. along with her staff, attends to her guests needs swiftly with grace. The hotel itself is elegant, clean, and very conveniently situated for touring the wine route north and south of Mittelwihr. The rooms are spacious and the quality and details are better than you would expect in a 3* establishment. We highly recommend Hotel Le Mandelberg.
