Piccolo albergo in ottima posizione, vicino al porto e a due passi da una stazione della metro e da una fermata del bus che porta al Mucem ed a Notre Dame de la garde. La gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale ci è stata di grande aiuto per goderci la città. Privo di ascensore, solo un piccolo distributore per la colazione. Stanza piccola ma sufficiente, arredamento un po' vecchio. Il bagno troppo piccolo per muoversi. Pulizia sotto la sufficienza. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. In definitiva una buona scelta per un fine settimana

The room was good, even though the building it's old and there was luckily 2 electric outlets in all the room (including the washroom which had not even one)

Nice budget hotel. We got an upgrade for free. Excellent location, close to supermatkets and old port. The person at the reception is very friendly.

Soi-disant nous n'avions pas loué la chambre alors que nous avions le papier de réservation avec le N° de réservation. La personne qui nous a reçu n'a pas été aimable du tout et l'hotel étant complet (comme par hasard) nous avons du nous débroullié sans l'aide de l'hotel pour trouver un autre hotel.

Location was okay, not prime spot but only 5 min walk down to the port, the rooms were pretty clean, reception spoke some English, wifi worked. Overall an average place but for the price we paid a great spot.

Adequate for my needs! It's not flash but a place to store my bags, have a shower and get some sleep. Wouldn't have a romantic weekend here but for solo visit was fine!

Une chambre pour dormir et une douche. L essentiel est là. Après, pour cette gamme de prix, on note une somme de menus détails qui dénotent un certain manque de vigilance: une ampoule manquante à côté du lit, télécommande TV qui fonctionne à moitié. Le plus pénalisant en hiver, c'était le chauffage : une climatisation, oui mais collée au plafond : l'air chaud reste au plafond, qui était bien chauffé lui ☺. Cela ne m'a pas empêché d'avoir froid dans mon lit, cocasse... Après, à ce niveau de prix mais sans doute est-ce normal, pas de coffre fort, pas de séchoir, pas de repassage.. Clairement, cette offre est inadaptée à un deplacement business. Au demeurant l'hôtel est bien situé et les interactions avec le patron, pour succinctes qu'elles fussent, n'en demeurèrent pas moins cordiales. La prochaine fois, je dépenserai davantage et irai au Sofitel. L'expérience client fut assez quelconque.

Petit hotel bien situé. Vieillot mais propre et bien entretenue. C'est surtout que, lorsqu'un hôtel s'appel Hôtel Moderne, on s'attend à plus aun goût du jour. Il devrait s'appeler Hôtel Vintage ou d'Autrefois. Mais le staff est très gentil et les lieux sont très propre.

Good for what I paid, friendly staff and well located for sight-seeing. Having to hand in and get back the room door key every time I entered and exited was strange. Bad wifi and pillows but generally clean room. I'd asked for a receipt for my stay and it took quite a while (days).

部屋番号は11番。割引価格で56ユーロ、約7220円。割引でないと、9665円だそうだが、とってもそんな値段の部屋には思えない。この割引価格56ユーロの部屋は写真ではロマンチックな装飾があったようだが、実際はごく普通で全然違い、がっかり。壁紙も客のスーツケースか何かで擦り切れた箇所があり、安物っぽいのが残念。シャワールームのタイルも素人が直したような感じ。しかし、不満だったのはそれだけ。11番の部屋は窓を開けても静かでシャワールームも含めて清潔感は高かった。二階の窓口の強面のおじさんも気さくで親切で、ホテルには客以外の人間は絶対入れない、と。ホテルは観光名所のマルセイユの港から徒歩で行けるところにあるので場所的にはばっちり。フランス語が話せて、とにかく清潔で装飾なんかはどうでもいい、多少、壁に擦り傷なんかあってもかまわない、清潔で静かなら、観光名所に近いなら11番の部屋はおすすめです。ある意味、フランス語が話せなくてもいいかもしれない。女性客も多いみたいで、女性にもおすすめ。しかし、ホテルズドットコムを通じて予約しても、当日行ってみたら、満員ということもあるみたいなので、予約番号をもらったら、別途メールで確認を入れておいたほうがいい。何時につくから、とか。タオルと石鹸はおいてあったが、歯磨き粉や歯ブラシはなかった。7月上旬の暑い時に一泊だったけど、クーラーなしで窓開放で気持ち良かった。以上です。

Hôtel dans un ancien bâtiment près du vieux port de Marseille, très bien rénové. Accueil professionnel et chaleureux. Check-in rapide. Chambre un peu petite mais calme et avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Propreté impeccable, lit confortable, belle déco et Télévision avec les chaines de la TNT. Excellente connexion Wifi. Metro à proximité avec un accès direct à la gare Saint-Charles. Commerces et beaucoup de restaurants à proximité. Je recommande cet hôtel à tous. Moi, je reviendrais à chaque fois que je séjournerais à Marseille.

J'ai n'a pas pense que l'hotel affreux comme "Modern" peut exister en France!!!!!!!!!
