Lovely one night stay at this little gem of a place. Room was clean and fresh with character and the bonus of a sweet little private terrace area overlooking pretty courtyard. Breakfast was good with fresh croissants, coffee etc. Chinon gorgeous old town. Heartily recommend this hotel and its surroundings.

This hotel is extremely well located for a Visit to Chinon. It was clean, the owners were hospitable and the breakfast was good and plentiful. Not a super posh hotel, but perfect for an easy visit to a beautiful city.

We liked the bathroom with the skylight. The balcony was nice. The bed was comfortable. Very nice location for walking around Chinon and for driving to the chateaux nearby.

This hotel is one of those where you can hear someone walking next door as if they’re inside your room. Our neighbors were pretty quiet, but we spent more money to have the pretty river view room which turned out to be awful because it’s also in front of a very busy road. We were woken up all night from motorcycles and cars zipping past. The people barely spoke English and still charged us for our remaining two nights even though we told them we couldn’t possibly sleep there another night with the noise. Theoretically there is free street parking but you have to move your car twice a day. I’m surprised by all of the high reviews. It looks cute, but just not very practical. Maybe the rooms facing the back of the building are better.

We did not stay in the main hotel, but in rooms situated around an open-air garden courtyard a few metres away. Very nice. Room had table and chairs outside in leafy courtyard. Buffet contindntal breakfast was OK and hotel was within easy walking distance of city centre, bars and restaurants, but nearest overnight parking was 100m away. No bar, but drinks were sold at reception until 8pm. Would stay there again.

Fabulous place to stay with very nice rooms, great service and a location right on the river. Walking distance to restaurants and wine caves. A cute private patio if you want to sit outside.

Great hosts, clean fresh room, good quality linen, electric fan already on for our arrival as v. Hot weather, good breakfast and service..... you couldnt ask for more .

Lovely hotel with friendly owners! Get the breakfast, it’s worth it! Free parking down the street.

Large clean warm room, good clean shower room, very quiet, close to old town

got a room in a separate area across the alley with a small courtyard: nice, newish renovated(?), clean, comfortable bed. great room. Owner couple is friendly & helpful. highly recommended. Note: it's hard to find a restaurant open after 6pm in Nov.

Ras pour ce séjour tjs agréable , où il y est très agréable de revenir , ce qui est mon cas
