The day before we checked out, we kindly asked the receptionist if the hotel could book a taxi for us the following morning at 7:45 AM. She was very helpful and took note of our request, assuring us that the receptionist working the next day would be informed.
The next morning, at 7:15 AM, I went to the reception desk to confirm that the taxi had been arranged as requested. The receptionist did not speak English, which was completely understandable, and therefore called the supervisor/manager on duty.
When he arrived, he informed us that he had never been told about our request and stated that the hotel does not book taxis for guests. I asked, and honestly, nearly begged, whether he or any hotel staff could help us call a taxi. He bluntly refused and said that they simply do not provide that service. Do IT YOURSELF.
Seriously, what kind of hotel cannot even assist guests with arranging a taxi?
In addition, we were assigned a room that was not what I had booked based on the photos shown during the reservation process. When we checked in, the manager on duty explained that while it was the same room category, it was not necessarily the specific room shown in the booking photos. This was disappointing, as the room we received did not match our expectations based on the listing.
