I was in town for a social dance event nearby, this hotel was very convenient to the event and value priced. The room was good, mattress was comfortable. There are several good restaurants nearby, you can't ask for me.

Located at the second last station of metro line 12, the hotel is actually more convenient than expected. Taking metro to Charles de Gaulle Étoile costs around 20 mins, not too troublesome.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. When we got back at around 11, we didn't worry about the security issue in the area. There are two supermarkets, a bakery and several cafes near the hotel. Considering the high accommodation costs in Paris, staying in Hotel Gabriel worth the price.

The hotel on the whole is ok value for money but some issues I had were that the rooms were really small (maybe tiny) with only one pillow, it needed some updating (bathrooms) and staff on the late shift weren't always the friendliest. Other staff were all lovely. The gym was not functional.
