Staff very polite

Great little hotel just a few minutes from the train and bus station. Staff were efficient and helpful, bed comfortable, immaculately clean and breakfast very nice though a gluten free bread option would have been nice. It’s tiny but for an overnight stay it did the job. Only negative was the scrawching noise the lift made beside my room (60) but it pretty much stopped being used by 10.30pm though started again early in the morning.

The room was very small, not to say tiny. It definitely was smaller than 14 square meters. While the hotel itself was clean and safe, the area around it was not.

Very clean and spacious rooms with great service! Someone was always at the front desk to assist us all night. Location was great. Close to Metro but we chose to walk because of the pretty streets.

Convenient cheap and quality for travellers without a vehicle!

The hotel was neat and tidy. Our room was small but comfortable. The staff was excellent. They were very helpful. I would stay here again. There is a wonderful restaurant right across the street and then it's close to the Boston train station.

This hotel was better than expected. The staff were not only courteous but went out of their way to be helpful. We had the least expensive room and yes it was tiny, but it was clean and very comfortable. (if you are bigger sized, you may want to consider not choosing the smallest room). Although there was no kettle, the staff happily got us hot water. We appreciated the recycle containers placed near the stairs. Hotel is conveniently located next to the train/bus station, easy access to city areas and shops/markets in the confluence area.

Wonderful staff - so welcoming and nothing was a problem. Definitely worth asking for restaurant recommendations! Room was just as described, housekeeping kept it looking beautiful. Good location for transport and near to many places to eat!

Beautiful, old-style hotel with a large and cozy room - perfect for a small family. Centralized with easy access to common transit. Hearty and varied breakfast buffet. A real jewel of a place and one we will consider firsthand on our next planned visit!

It's been a good experience.. Friendly staff, very good breakfast, room is very clean and well presented... Cubicle shower/toilet which works well.. Great position for walking around Lyon.. Next door to Brasserie Georges...

very beautiful little hotel, need some improvements in the bathrooms but overall very nice stay, employees very helpfull, the lady taking care of the breakfast room was very caring and nice, the personal at frondesk, eventho we didn'tspeak french and my English is limited, everyone was very nice, one of the guys at the front desk gave us a perfect explanation in a perfect spanish, with maps and directions on how to use public transport, very exceptional, except a young skinny guy with dark brown hair, he was extremely rude and unwelcoming, besides that a perfect hotel with the perfect location, for sure will be back

Good location and friendly staff

Basic hotel with very, very small bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff and quite well located. Breakfast was good value. Not bad for a couple of nights.

The property is very close to the Perrache train station and Place Carnot, and less than 1 mile walk from Place Bellacour. We had one room facing Brasserie Georges and we could leave the windows open (none of the rooms have AC, just fans) and one room facing the other direction, right into someone else' apartment so the windows and drapes had to stay closed and drawn. The rooms do not have a refrigerator, but we could leave our food/drink with front desk to be placed in their refrigerator. Front desk staff is very nice and friendly The bathroom and shower area is very small, which is probably typical of hotels like this.

The room was too dark and bathroom too small. Tiny elevator. Staff excellent. Breakfast good.

The hotel has a very good location--right by the train station. The bathroom is a little like in a RV.
