Keep coming to this hotel, because it is very convenient for our journey. It offers secure onsite parking at €18 a night. Very friendly english speaking staff. Breakfast very nice and plentiful. Very much recommended!!

The breakfast was good, but we didn’t like loud music playing through the sound system.

Love this place, always use it when I’m staying in the area, good old fashioned pub restaurant hotel, no airs and graces, good food, good drinks and friendly service, what’s not to like.

The Calais Ibis is a basic hotel, ideal for 1 night stays.

I’m not meaning to be negative with this property, staff were good, breakfast good, room clean. Basic bar on site with pool/football tables to play…. It’s the centre of Calais, I didn’t realise Calais has such a great night life (casino & nightclub over the road) but in this occasion I had an early ferry crossing with small people so didn’t appreciate to good vibes being had outside… other positives were free roadside parking and lots of restaurants nearby, we went to the Italian on the square which was lovely. Also got a great view of the traditional lighthouse

Very comfortable, nice decor and friendly staff. The breakfast was really good - huge choice, fresh orange juice to squeeze yourself! Would certainly stay here again.

Extremely disappointing stay. Several issues from misleading information about parking to no air con and the general condition and cleanliness. Firstly, upon arrival we were notified there was no parking available, that we should have called to reserve a place and that it was full. There was nothing in the Hotels.com listing to indicate that. We specifically picked this hotel for the parking. The room was very warm when we arrived and we tried to put the air con on but it wasn’t working. We were then advised that because it was September, the air con had been switched off and changed for heating and there was nothing they could do. It had reached 25 degrees that day, and the room was very warm. We tried to leave the window open but being on the main road it was too noisy with bars on the street. As a result we were barely able to sleep. The carpet was dusty, the toilet wasn’t properly clean, the window blind was broken.

We were given two rooms on the rear of the hotel. One up very steep stairs. Asked for bath but did not get one. Tried to exit hotel to cat park to find we were locked in. Very dangerous. Took twenty minutes to get help. Also street noise kept us awake until early hours of the morning.

It feels like some investment is needed to spruce up the bedrooms and surrounding areas. It's a very tired hotel.

Room was ok room was 4th floor after 3rd floor taking stair no lift no kettle even no dust bin in the room I don’t think its suitable for kids its very hard to taking kids 4th floor with stairs .overall i give them 5 points only

Rang to ask about Parking and was told it was first come first served. Arrived early to be told parking was all reserved. Very basic room
