Very friendly and professional staffs, breakfast had everything I wanted, smoked salmon, eggs, fruits, yogurts etc, the room was comfortable and spacious, we got free upgrade to the room with castle view

Great hotel with fabulous views of Carcassone Castle. Great sized room with bath and shower complementary robe slippers and mini bar. Excellent buffet breakfast. 4pm checkin is later than most hotels Great pool use however steam room etc is part of spa at an additional cost of 45 euros per hour. Overall great location for Christmas markets and castle 🏰 would highly recommend

Such lovely, friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel, we had a most relaxing time and the view from the rooms balcony was spectacular

The hotel was excellent however the restaurant not so good. On our first night of two the manager tried to charge us for four extra drinks and if I hadn’t pointed this out we would have been charged. In the second night we booked into the restaurant and were told that out of an already sparse choice, two were unavailable. This was put down to it being a new menu. We left and ate in town

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was an upgrade so we had a balcony and wonderful of the old city of Carcassonne. The bedroom had a huge open plan bathroom with large, round bath. We used the swimming pool, which is indoors and very nice for a quick dip. The breakfast was lovely!

We had a nice balcony room on the third floor with a great view of La Cité and the Pont Vieux. The balcony had not been very well cleaned or swept though which is the sort of detail that a hotel of this quality should get right. The same goes for some of the crockery at breakfast. They need to check on the dishwashing because some plates were not properly clean.

If you are travelling with a pet, this hotel is Not dog friendly Your dog is not allowed in any areas apart from the room This meant that we also could not use any of the other areas We had to eat all meals away from the hotel despite the fact it was listed as dog friendly We also paid an additional 40 euros for our dog to stay We fully appreciate that people do not want pets nearby when they are eating but this hotel should make an effort to provide for pet owners Not interested when we complained We had a superior room with balcony The balcony was filthy The toilet seat was hanging off and the room was smelly The tv was faulty Would not return again

Best shower in France!

Pluses: very courteous staff, beautiful views of the Medieval City, convenient for that and for dining, very clean overall, good sized rooms, pleasant gardens. Minuses: pool is very small and only opens at 10am, parking is near, very secure and easy to get to but the route back to the hotel is awful; it takes you all round the town on a one-way system, often choked with traffic. They do have their own parking - at 15 Euros per night.

Great location and good for walking around city and sites. Large, bright, modern decor rooms. Parking nearby, book in advance to ensure slot. We highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. Nice room, great helpful staff, parking for our motorcycles and short walk for food. Right next to La Cité. Short drive to it.

Good hotel and not so good restaurant. Overpriced and a little pretentious.

We paid for a full castle view and was given a partial view, when l went to ask for a room move the receptionist said you have booked via Hotels.com so they where not prepared to move us, albeit l’m Gold member. Breakfasts are a disaster, the staff don’t clear tables or refresh the food! Stopped 3 nights every morning the same, on complaining the manager shrugged his shoulders to say so what!

The property is ideally situated to explore the area.

An excellent location and a high quality hotel. Beautiful view of the city from the room.

Exceeded my expectations. Room had a view of the citi and old bridge . Bathroom had a full-size bath. Location perfect for both medieval citi and main city. Walkable to the canal du midi and train station. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
