Check-in was frustrating this time, because they clearly were not expecting us. English comprehension was very poor. I told her that I had reserved two rooms over a week before, but she insisted that I had no reservation. So I looked up my prepaid reservation on my phone and showed it to her. Even though she had heard and seen my name several times, she kept on looking through other reservations and asking if that was my name. After a very long wait, she finally found it. No way to welcome exhausted travelers at midnight. A pathetic excuse for a breakfast buffet as well. Rooms good.

The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. It was a pleasure to spend time there and I definitely recommend this hotel. The location is also very good, next to parks, shops, and good restaurants.

One of the best hotels you can find in Tbilisi. Everything is brand new and in excellent condition. The hotel is located at a very picturesque place in the hills of Tbilisi, overlooking Mtatsminda within walkable distance to some main streets, modern restaurants, and cafeterias. Strongly recommend.

Staff personality can make or break any business, and with this in mind, I'm happy to report that hotel Genio had very welcoming individuals on the front desk. Friendly, efficient and professional. In addition to the above, the bedroom and ensuite were a good size, and tastefully decorated. The room contained a side table, 3 chairs, a desk, a fridge, a kettle (the latter of which came with complimentary and coffee, as was also the case with the bathroom amenities). Everything one expects from a good hotel was provided for, and as a bonus, the view from the roof terrace was exceptional. I will return.

In a hotel was early breakfast. Not a lot of people in the hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly. There is a roof terrace and a dinning area but although there is what looks like a bar it wasn't open. The restaurant was only open for breakfast.

Hôtel en très bon état et propre, mais plusieurs problèmes à signaler : le quartier est tranquille mais compliqué d'accès même pour les taxis locaux / côté service : pas de bouteilles d'eau fournies sauf un jour où la climatisation était en panne (la chambre orientée à l'ouest était une étuve) + pas de choix au petit déjeuner, c'est une assiette garnie avec un œuf, des concombres et de la tomate et une tranche de pain / quand la climatisation a fonctionné le compresseur sur le toit était bruyant. A retenir pour Tbilissi : le critère de choix n'est pas d'être proche du centre ville mais des centres d'intérêt, Dzveli / bains de souffre / Metekhi.

Lite trivelig hotell, litt utenfor byen. Det ligger i et stille område, kun 5 min å gå til butikker og spisesteder.

Such a terrific find this 5 star Hotel in standard , so reasonably priced , being tucked away , up the hill , from the trendy shops of Abashidze Street in the Vake District of Tbilisi . So proudly family run and it shows ! The staff were all exceptional and I will definitely be making this my ‘ go to ‘ Hotel when next visiting Tbilisi. A really wonderful stay and a great balcony to unwind from in this lovely area . I loved the excellent comfort and vibe of this Hotel and SO well priced for this high level . I’ll see you again for sure !

Newly refurbished hotel, a nice big room, friendly and helpful staff, a 10 minute walk to a street with shops, restaurants, and everything you need - very good value for money. Have stayed in several places in Tbilisi, and this is definitely one of the better ones.

A small quiet comfortable hotel a little off the beaten track. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast started at 8 am which is unusual for Tbilisi where 9am is more common.

Nice clean hotel, a bit far from sightseeing areas but you can use a cab. Hotel rooms are clean, no facilities except a rooftop area. Rooms are new and clean. Comfy beds and modern bathrooms.

Very comfortable stay, the beds are super comfy. George and his staff are helpful, friendly and professional. I arrived without any tours planned and George took care of this for me.

We came for 2 nights and looked for a hotel in Vake. This pleasent hotel was very fair priced, great room, clean, comfortable with nice breakfast which was included. A little far from the center.
