The location is closed to the center of Garmiche Villege. No air conditioner inside the room. It was hot in the afternoon. Small bathroom without bathtub. Reception was helpful to give us all information.

The Atlas Hotel is probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. I would stay there again.

I was surprised with how nice this hotel was. The reviews were not always good but my experience was fantastic. 2nd story rooms looked newer but in a classic style. I will certainly consider staying here again!

I liked the old world charm.

great location

We were put in the apartments. It was raining and required walking in rain and difficulty parking. The next day upon checkout we were told we could have stayed in hotel IF I HAD ASKED. Should have been asked by reception!

I have stayed in this hotel several times beginning in 2009. It used to be a wonderful place, but it has gone down drastically in the last few years. During my recent stay I usually had to wait for someone to show up at the front desk, one time for 20 minutes! This was during hours when the desk was advertised as being manned. There are directions to call a number if no one was at the desk, but no one ever answered. Breakfast was adequate, but it used to be spectacular! The German restaurant has been replaced by a pizzeria. It is quite good, but the German restaurant was really special. I really doubt that I will stay here again. Having said all that, I will give one complement: the staff was very helpful in retrieving an item which I left in a taxi.

Very short stay, nice quiet room, in old traditional annex residence. There could have been a bit more attention to guests at breakfast, but we got by Otherwise excellent.

The staff was very kind and courteous. Meftah (the receptionist) was very professional, polite and helpful. with a smile. Thank you for a great service. Property in nice and the room are a cabin style just elegant.

We were in one of the Annex apartments. No A/C so had to keep windows open; noisy bar across street a bit annoying. Don’t think it would be a problem in cooler weather with closed windows and bar patrons inside the bar. But overall great location in center of town. Staff very helpful

We've stayed here before but never in the apartments. Didn't know they were there. We were very impressed with the amount of space. The rooms are comfortable. Wish we would have had more than one night. Will definitely stay here again the next time in town.

The apartments are laid out nicely and breakfast was good. The apartment on the top floor of building 7 has no WiFi in most spots--the router seems to be located on the first floor. Also the bathroom didn't have a door (by design). Only one window is reachable and there is no air conditioning, so it got quite warm in there.
