Good location. Older property but maintained well enough. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location : Marienplatz 5 mn away , subway across the street, happy hour kindly offered, excellent breakfast with the essentials and more (complementary Prosecco/champagne) : totally recommend hotel Torbrau !!

What a change ! This hotel has old world charm and is centrally located off the Im Tal street just down 2 blocks from the Marionplatz . Air conditioning was the main reason we stayed here . Breakfast was excellent , wonderful German style . Very quiet .

Great location near shopping, restaurants and bars. Beautifully kept traditional hotel. Spacious room and comfortable bed. Definitely highly recommend.

The room was old and the bathroom wasn’t well cleaned, particularly in the corners and some touch surfaces. The shower was very small and hard to move around in, and didn’t drain properly. The window to the courtyard opened to pieces of tinfoil to scare away pigeons, which were right outside the window anyways. The HVAC system made an irritating whining and grinding sound throughout the night. Additionally the furnishings were outdated, particularly the shag carpet. On the positive side, the location was good.

Everything was excellent. The registration staff always had smiles on their faces. Breakfast was excellent and a wide variety of options. The coffee was delicious. The room was very comfortable and clean. I needed an iron and ironing board to iron my dirndle and apron. They brought one to my room. Wonderful location. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We loved this hotel! Can’t beat the location. Seriously it is walking distance to everything and the S line is half a block away. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Staff was amazing.

Nice hotel. The water in the shower went back and forth scolding hot too freezing cold. Fix that and the place is perfect.

Great location

Beautiful hotel just a short walk to the historic Old Town. Highly recommend! We stayed in the suite and it was just amazing. The service was perfect. The breakfast had a lot of variety. Oktoberfest was a short 1.5mile electric bike ride. If I came back to Munich I would stay here again.

This property is in a fantastic location. Breakfast is also fantastic, you just need to know that the option to order eggs and omelet is is available but nobody tells you. We have stayed four times and are very happy. Only thing is, half the rooms are modern and renovated and half are not, hence the age of the hotel and you’ll understand it’s important to get a renovated room…

The hotel is old and the rooms spartan. If you have any difficulty with stairs and/or heavy suitcases the floor configuration requires use of stairs. Elevators don’t get you to many rooms. This was just one night stay off a cruise and before flying back home. Frankly wouldn’t stay here again.
