Fabulous hotel which definitely feels more like 4/5 star than a 3! Friendly and exceptionally helpful staff, especially Eleni on reception. An easy 15 minute walk downhill into beautiful Fiscardo but the hotel also operates a regular shuttle bus to take you down or bring you back . Many of the guests return year after year which is always a good sign. Beautiful views, great breakfast and lovely bedrooms. The pool area is great and sun loungers were always available. Couldn’t fault a thing, we will definitely return.

Best Hotel I’ve stayed in, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, would give 200 gold stars if I could. It’s 10 mins walk from fiskardo, pools lovely, foods lovely, we had a great time!!!

Third stay at the Almyra hotel and it was fabulous as always. The staff make the hotel, in particular Elani!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Close to the activity and yet just far away - but within walking distance, to the business and action at the harbour front.

The hotel had a lovely swimming pool area with lots of sun loungers. There was a covered terrace for eating and the hotel had a very relaxed feel with stunning views.. The rooms were well decorated with lots of drawer and wardrobe space. The staff were all very friendly and service was amazing.

Booked last minute and was not dissapointed. The Hotel was a family run business and had very good relationships with new and returning guests, nothing too much trouble. The Hotel is modern with all the facillities we needed, a pool with a poolside bar, nice areas to sit in and out of the sun, a beautiful terrace where we ate breakfast, a lounge and bar area also a small shop. The room was a good size with tv. tea cooffe making also a mini bar bath/shower room and a small balcony. Fiscardo is a ten minute walk away or a short ride in the hotels shuttle bus. Definately will return.

One of the best 3 star hotels I have ever stayed in. Fantastic views, lovely rooms and excellent service. As with most hotels in Greece, the breakfast is basic but the hotel was immaculate.

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and amazing location.

We only spent one night but it was excellent! We came in late, they shuttled us to the Taverna and we called when we were ready, they came and got us. Excellent breakfast with an unbelievable view. Just beautiful! Then shuttled to the ferry.. All free!

Had a great stay. Hotel is up on a hill so whilst it's a steep 15-20 min walk from town the view of the sea and of Ithaca are beautiful. The staff were friendly and polite. Fiscardo itself is also very pretty. Other guests all as happy and chilled out as we were. Great place to relax and recharge. You won't want to leave!

From checking-in to checking out the hotel was second to none. Clean, fantastic scenery from rooms, spacious, Nothing was too much trouble.

I arrived at the Hotel Almyra with my two sons having booked the Apartment. Everything from the staff , the amazing breakfasts, comfort, views was wonderful. The staff could not do enough for you but not in a cloying way, just wonderful and friendly. I travel regularly and have stayed in many luxurious hotels however this little gem in beautiful Fiskardo is outstanding. If you like understated but elegant surroundings with wonderful staff a beautiful location then you will love the Almyra.

Das Hotel lag außerhalb auf einer Anhöhe mit Sicht auf Lefkas und Ithaka und dazwischen das strahlendblaue Meer. Wir durften unser Gepäck bereits Stunden vorher im Hotel lagern, da wir noch unseren Mietwagen in Fiskardo abgeben mußten. Die Dame an der Rezeption informierte uns, dass wir um 11.00 Uhr mit dem Shuttle-Service von Fiskardo zurück ins Hotel kommen könnten. Wir konnten bereits um 11.30 Uhr (anstelle um 14.00 Uhr) unser Zimmer beziehen, da die Reinigungskräfte unser Zimmer als erstes gereingt hatten. So eine tolle Organisation! Da das Hotel Richtung Osten ausgerichtet war, war es am Spätnachmittag am Pool und auf der Terasse angenehm kühl. Die Ausstattung des Hotels war sehr gepflegt und stimmungsvoll. Als wir für den nächsten Vormittag ein Taxi an den Hafen in Fiskardo bestellen wollten, bot uns die Dame an der Rezeption an, dass uns der hauseigene Shuttle-Service (außerhalb der regulären Zeiten) fahren würde. Alles in allem ein außergewöhnliches Hotel in Griechenland.

This is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in great condition and the pool area was nice. It's about a 10 minute walk into Fiscardo (downhill) and probably double that coming back. In the event we used their shuttle bus to come back from town, and we probably would have preferred a few more timing options for this - but it's good that it's offered at all. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Almyra Hotel var veldig koselig. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Store fine moderne rom med fantasisk havutsikt (deluxrom). Enkel men god frokost med friskpresset juice og gresk youghurt. Stilig hotell med rolig atmosfære. Hotellet tilbø gratisk minibuss til og fra sentrum hver kveld. Vil anbefale å ha bil da hotellet ligger oppe i lia og med avstand til strendene. Fiskardo er et fantasisk nydelig sted, stilig med vanlige greske priser. Vi kommer garantert tilbake.

We stayed at The Almyra for two weeks at the start of June. We loved the hotel and Fiscardo and are determined to return. This is by far the most beautiful part of the island. We spent our first 10 days exploring the local area on foot, plenty of good walks to do and it is the best way to find the smaller hidden beaches. We covered the rest of the island by car and, although lovely elsewhere, Fiscardo remains our firm favourite. The sea in this part of Kefalonia provided the clearest snorkeling conditions I have seen anywhere and there is an abundance of marine life to explore. Despite being a small village there is plenty of choice around the harbour for eating and drinking and something for all budgets. The staff at the hotel could not be more helpful and if they didn't know an answer to your question you can be sure they would find one. The walk back and forth from the hotel to Fiscardo provides a good chance to work off some of the wine drunk at the harbour side but if that's not your cup of tea then the hotel mini bus is for you and from what we saw this is a popular service! It is quite steep on the way back up. Probably not the best hotel to take children to though.
