It’s a nice, if slightly dated hotel, centrally located but on a busy stretch of road so not quite the picturesque Athenian resort, however it is more than fine for business travel, just be aware there are no irons in the rooms.

Nice family stay at Zafolia Hotel. The family room we stayed in was essentially 2 connected rooms so we had lots of space, 2 bathrooms and a balcony - which was great. The pool on the rooftop was also lovely (albeit the water was a bit cold.) The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated though and the location is about 35-40 minute walk from the city center so we ended up taking lots of taxi rides (about 5-7 EUR to get to or back from the city center)

Friendly reception staff, happy to help. Rooms clean and spacious. The only downside for me is that there were no parasols to lie in the shade in the pool area. Apart from that, everything was great.

Lovely hotel lobby. Busy street but main intersection in Athens. Need taxi/transit/car to get to sites but doable.
Our a/c was not really working well and although changed our room it was to a smaller room, not an executive room like we booked. A/c no better. They did provide a fan which made sleeping bearable in the scorching weather. Although staff were accommodating, perhaps upgrading room to a better room would have been a good choice for customer satisfaction.
Breakfast, bar and pool bar good. Pool deep and getting in/out difficult for older/younger folks. No shallow end.
Overall the hotel is a good choice if a/c improved

Some issues at checkout where we were given one room when the booking was for two despite querying one room card and stating booking was for two rooms. Felt a bit misled.
Hotel is a bit dated but the rooftop has a nice view and the pool staff are very nice.

The only remark I have is the opening hour of the pool which is opening very late between 12-1230.
And then it would be nice if mobiles should be on silent at the restaurant area, as if people want to hear something they must bring headsets or go to their room and not bothering all other people with high sounds from their mobiles.
