Modern, spacious rooms with a nice balcony (i had the side view which was nice and calm). An actual down duvet. Air condition works well. The only thing i messed was a bjgger fridge. The staff are super friendly - both at the reception and the people cleaning. Location is nice. A little walk to the old town, but then you get a more calm part of the beach. Restaurants and shops right outside the door.

Batis hotel is conveniently located on front line to the Rethymno beach. Hotel is located about 20 min walk from the old town of Rethymno. Rooms were modern, spacious and clean, however housekeeping doesn't work on Sundays. Air-condition is in every room. Dina - receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she replied all our questions. Hotel suggested us an upgrade of room and Dina insured that we changed rooms smoothly. Thanks alot for the hotel team for making our stay very pleasant and we hope to come back next year.

I really enjoyed my week-long stay at Batis Beach Hotel. On arrival I was greeted by the friendliest and most helpful receptionist, Dina. She offered excellent recommendations of where to dine in the evenings and showed genuine warmth and kindness throughout my stay. All the other hotel, kitchen and housekeeping staff were equally helpful and friendly. My room was impeccable, modern and comfortable. The location was perfect with a quiet part of the beach directly across the road, proximity to lots of great restaurants and easy walking distance to the Old Town and port. The breakfast was excellent too - the portions were generous and the food fresh and delicious. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wij hadden een kamer met zij zeezicht. De kamer was ruim en erg netjes. Elke dag werd de kamer schoongemaakt en kon je ervoor kiezen om je handdoeken te wisselen. Super vriendelijk personeel van de receptie tot aan de dames van de huishouding. Het ontbijt werd geserveerd op het dakterras met een uitzicht over zee.

Alles okay. Leider haben wir nur ein nach hinten gelegenes Zimmer bekommen.

Over all this place is a fantastic location! The people and service were great. The only feedback I can give is a slightly better explanation of the new electronic systems and cleaning schedule would be appreciated.

On arrival we were given a side view sea room in place of the sea view room we paid for. The reason was due to occupants extending their stay due to ill health ?Although we were offered breakfast to compensate and moved 3 days later it was very disappointing after just arriving in Crete. Apart from that we had a great stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was large and comfortable with a great balcony. Great location across from the beach and great dining options.

5 stars, full stop. I stayed at this property for almost 3 weeks and made 7 new bookings, which speaks for itself. I've been coming to Greece for 35 years, so I def. know my way around. This is an EXCELLENT property. I HIGHLY recommend it. Unbeatable value. I've stayed in many properties across the island, including in 4* & 5* hotels. This is my favorite property. Lots of reasons why. The property features modern hotel-style suites & apartment-style rooms that have a kitchen (sink/cutlery, stove, oven, BIG fridge). Both types of room are spacious, VERY clean, a 10-minute walk from the old town, 50 meters from the beach, parking is NO PROBLEM (def. a problem in Reth.), and it's right next to multiple supermarkets and plenty of good restaurants. Very quiet: rooms are soundproofed. You can always hear the waves from the room terraces, which is soothing & dreamy. Comfy, spacious terraces. The property is family-run, which makes a big difference in the quality of stay. Management takes personal accountability for every guest's stay like an individual, not a 'number.' The staff really does care and they go out of their way to be helpful, i.e. directions, recommendations, tips, etc. They are all locals & speak fluent English. *Katerina is the diligent, generous & elegant owner, Ismini is the chic, bubbly and always-positive lass; and Aris is the clever, conscious, and detailed chap who always goes out of his way to see how you're doing. Gold medal, well done.

Nice stay at the Batis hotel. Good location 10 mins work from the old town. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Across the road from the beach, where 2x sunbeds with umbrella shade for 8 euro inc a soft drink/coffee. The hotel has it's own small pool, which is quiet, sun most of the day, but there is also a shaded area. Cleaner, came to the room every other day. The room was basic, but of a good standard. Nice place, nice friendly people.

A three-star hotel with easy access directly to the seashore. The pool area is in the background and we didn't use it. There is a quiet area on the roof of the hotel where you can sunbathe or for example spend time reading a book. When booking a hotel, you should be careful about the location of the balcony, if this is important to you. Although you can see the sea from all the balconies also on the side, only the ones in front face the sea directly. However, the sun almost doesn't shine on front balconies at all and there is a busy road in front of the hotel between the sea and the building. There is also a bar in front of the hotel where they play music. Our balcony was on the side and it was more peaceful, although the view wasn't as great. The hotel staff was polite, helpful and friendly. They offer help and advice and give a good customer service also in advance. They answer email/Hotels.com -messages quickly. The cleaning lady did a great job! She paid attention to the customers needs and was responsible for daily comfort. Very clean hotel! The bed was not the best but not bad either, 3 stars. The air conditioning worked excellently. Kitchen equipment for vacation ok, although the stove was peculiar and difficult to use. A couple of wishes for the hotel: a bidet shower and a microwave oven would be a good addition to the rooms. Nice and clean hotel and good location!
