Property was unique and traditional, albeit a little tired in places, but that added to the charm and we expected that to a degree when we booked it.

The place is very central in old town with a great view. Olga was very helpful and welcoming ❤️. Not suitable if you want to sleep early as the noise is continuous from the restaurants

The host was incredible and very friendly. In addition to making us feel right at home, she was full of wonderful suggestions about how to explore Chania and the western side of Crete. The hotel is an old Venetian home that has been turned into 5 suites. The rooms were spacious while preserving the Venetian charm of the building. Right outside of the common area, a set of French double doors opens up onto the harbor and the hustle and bustle of the port below. It was an absolutely wonderful experience!

This hotel was incredible. The woman running it was so sweet and helpful. Morning breakfast was a treat! The room had incredible views of the port and the lighthouse.

Very quaint hotel, 15 century villa. Only 5 rooms in it. Clean, friendly staff. Great European breakfast with hardboiled eggs, baking, Greek yogurt with lots of toppings, fresh fruit salad, fresh squeezed orange juice and French pressed coffee. Very convenient area in the Old Town Chania area in the old Venetian port. Lots of restaurants. Most shopping was closed as not their busy time, 3rd week of March. Stayed 2 nights, very pleased with accommodation and very friendly staff/owner.

The staff were very welcoming and took great care of us! The room was very unique and the balcony was great! Breakfast was also excellent. I would definetly recommend for a stay at Casa Leone for time in Chania or Crete in general!

The lobby has a private balcony right over the water where we enjoyed a bottle of wine at night enjoying the sounds and views of the busy boardwalk below. The breakfast provided was absolutely incredible and the staff were right out of a Greek novel, and as friendly and helpful as you can imagine.

This is a great property that my wife and I have stayed in each time that we were in Chania for the past few years. Olga, the property manager was the main reason we always stay at this property. The morning breakfast is always excellent. And Olga has enormous knowledge about Crete - her recommendations about things to do are always on point. It is obvious that we will continue to stay at this property anytime that we are in Chania. To summarize - this nice property is highly recommended by my wife and I to anyone who wants to visit Chania, Crete.

Everything was good. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. If you are 6' and over 220lbs. taking a shower will be challenging. Other than that, Casa Leone is a great place in Chania. Get a room with a view to the harbor, you will not regret it.

Parking is a nightmare. Almost impossible. The location is great and convenient. The room is nice however the bathroom is extremely small and almost unusable. Very nosy all night with trash pickup.

I loved this place! It was the best location for dining, shopping, beaches, views and the staff is incredible! I booked the Honeymoon Suite just for the view and I was so happy I did, I had the BEST view. Lots to see and do, I will definitely be back and stay at the Casa Leone Hotel. I can’t say enough good things about the place, you’ll have to visit yourself to find out.

Right on the canal. A true gem of Chania. Amazing spot and friendly personal service. This town is so charming and Casa Leone is part of that!

Thank you Nikolai (sp?) for being a great host. Perfect location, quiet- granted this is off season. Room (#2) and view were magnificent. Laundry service even tho really no staff on hand due to off season. My laptop fan went out and they tried to help me which was much appreciated. As solo traveler felt very safe and secure. Locked gate, locked hotel door and locked room. Balcony view of harbor freight as breathtaking. At night especially when it was all lit. Lighthouse is beautiful. Easy walking to shops and local market. Nikolai even walked me to restaurant around the corner where I ate great local home cooked more than once. Highly recommend and will stay again if I am ever back in Chania, which I hope to be as it is beautiful.

So wonderfully clean, authentic and romantic! We walked in and knew we had found the one; the perfect place to stay in Chania! So quaint and beautiful! Would love to give it even more stars!
