We stayed at Ion Hotel for one night before our cruise and it was a great choice. The location is very convenient — just a 10-minute walk from the metro with a direct connection from the airport. The hotel is clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. If you’re heading to cruise terminal B or C, as we were, I recommend taking an Uber.
One tip: bring an adapter, since the room only has European plugs and no USB ports. Nothing fancy, but just what you need for a night.

I strongly not recommend this hotel, when I arrived the counter show me the wrong English booking name, and think I am not the one who book this room, keeps asking me to show my booking price in EU dollars, even I show him my printed payment, he didn't allow me to get in and yell me. But finally his co-staff misspelled my name and the counter didn't apologize me. Very sucks experience for my first day in Greece

We were going as a group of 8 people, and were given a room of 6 and 2 respectively. The room for 6 contained 2 single bunk bed and a double bed. Room was fairly clean with acceptable size at this price. Location was good, near the Piraeus pier. Both rooms were well air-conditioned.

当时我们半夜从爱琴海的船到雅典，为了安全随便预订了一晚上，呆了6个小时，早上7点我们就离开了。如果对住宿有要求的客人最好不要选择这家旅馆。房间很臭，我根本不敢进厕所洗澡，被子也脏臭。当时我衣服都没脱就勉强呆了6个小时。这样share room太乱，太脏了。

Run down with some broken tiles etc but clean. Clean sheets and towels. For us, as a last night close to the airport metro and bus it was perfect.
The elevator is up two flights of stairs and the reception one so not great for physically hindered people.

Dersom man har tidlig flight og du kommer fra en av øyene dagen før, er dette et enkelt og billig sted om du bare skal ha en seng. Mye billigere å overnatte i Pireus og ta t-banen til flyplassen på morgenen.

The hotel is the perfect location for catching the Blue Star Ferry at the port. It is a cheap hotel room with a Tv, air conditioning, and a few windows. The room could be cleaner for sure but was super easy to check in and out.

After reading the other reviews, I was a bit worried about my stay.
But, as I just needed a good sleep after a long ferry ride, and an early morning flight, this place was fine. It was an ideal location for catching the metro to the airport and for arriving late from the ferry.
Sheets were clean, shower had great pressure, the staff person was helpful and stayed at the front desk all night. It was just what I needed for a quick one night stay.
