Great location in a beautiful bay. It is an ideal sunset spot. Surrounding area is rather quiet. The owner, Theos, was such a caring man, so pleasant, really went out of his way to care for people. Thanks to the staff and the owners.

Great location in a beautiful bay. Food was excellent with lot of local products. Everyone was very nice, really enjoyed our stay!

We drove to the hotel from Kalamata which was about two hours. The road is very windy but the views are spectacular. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and they kindly upgraded us for one night so we could sample the panoramic sea view room which was beautiful. We moved to a room on the side which had partial sea view but still pretty amazing views of the mountains and sea. The breakfast was so nice, you could sit outside looking at the sea and there was so much choice of lovely fresh greek specialities, hot food as well as cold, freshly squeezed orange, the list was endless. The hotel is in a lovely bay with lots of really great tavernas close by. We also walked into Lemeni which was in the next bay, also a fantastic spot for the views and good food.

Overall, we had a great stay - our room was super spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel looks either brand new or newly renovated, and it was reasonably tasteful as far as the room decor. The only thing that is docking the rating from 5 stars to 4 stars is the overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke that hits you immediately when you walk into the hotel. Truly, it was overpowering and incredibly off-putting such that I had to ask the owner if we would be staying in a non-smoking room or not--he said yes, but I've never had to do that before in any of the other places we stayed in during our time in Greece, despite how prevalent smoking indoors otherwise does seem to be in Greece. Thankfully, there wasn't a discernible stench of smoking in our actual room, but even the hallway for our room had a lesser though nonetheless apparent smoke smell in it. We were there just for one night, so we ended up being just fine and comfortable staying in our room and not leaving until check-out, but I would have certainly been even more put-off if I had to stay in the hotel longer and thus being in the hallways and common areas more. Were it not for the smoking smell, we would have given 5 stars without hesitation.

The gentleman running the place was awesome. He was super friendly and knew a lot about the area. We got stuck in a storm and the place lost power but the back up generator kept everything running. The food was great.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel immensely. Beautiful location on the water with the mountains coming down to the sea. Room, staff, amenities were excellent. The manager even gave me some oregano from his garden when I left. If you are going to the Mani I don't think you can go wrong staying here. Highly recommended.

Our room was fine. It overlooked a parking lot so had some noise from cars and not much of a view. There were better rooms available but hotel did not upgrade anyone

Das "Itilo" Hotel ist ein schönes in guter Lage traditionelles Hotel. Die Hotelzimmer sind ausreichend groß, das Bad gleich obwohl die Breite der Duschen hätte vielleicht ca. 10-15 cm breiter sein können. Der Platz wäre vorhanden. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbüffet mit sehr gutem Angebot. Die Lage hervorragend in der Nähe des kleinen Ortes und in sichtbare Nähe zwischen den Orten Limeni und Karavostasi. Als Ausgangspunkt um die Gegend Mani zu erkunden sehr gut. Der Strand bedarf noch etwas Pflege. Die Bucht ein nicht endender Traum. Die Fischtavernen hervorragend. Das Essen ein sonderbarer Genuss. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen und würden gerne wieder besuchen.

I Most say that everyone in the hotel were very helpful and the food was really good. I was especially pleased that they acted on the needs of my elderly mother who can be quite fussy at times. Overall a great stay.

Wonderful proprietor with an engaging personality and a strong work ethic. We were well taken care of and enjoyed our stay immensely. Clean and modern facilities, comfortable room, nice bathroom, easy parking. Highly recommended for peace and quiet.

Very nice hotel, good position, recommended for couples or families

We hebben geweldig genoten van het verblijf in Itilo. Fijne kamers en hartelijke service van de eigenaar. Op de kamers een goed bed en 's morgens een lekker ontbijt. De omgeving is zeer mooi en er is voldoende te zien voor een paar dagen (mits je een auto hebt). Wat minder vond ik dat er vrij veel muggen op de kamer waren. Ook waren er zo goed als geen internationale tv zenders geprogrammeerd en ontbrak een thee/koffie faciliteit.

An excellent choice, with wonderful sea and mountain view and very close to other small villages (Limeni is a small diamond, it was Spring time and the waters was crystal clear) Theodoros was more than helpful, giving good advice for avenues best for local sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious, the local yogurt coupled with their own handmade marmalade is an absolute must. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was one of the best i have seen. Overall, a warm and relaxing experience especially after a long road-trip.

Det var uden for sæsonen, så vi var de eneste gæster. Værten var meget hyggelig og hjælpsom. Morgenmaden var dejlig, frisk juice og brød, æg fra værtens egne høns og hjemmelavet marmelade

Great little hotel, awesome people and interior design was awesome. Hot water needed a little time to get going but we are vacation and in a secluded area. Breakfast was better then in most hotels we stayed in. Each room has a balcony and awesome view. Great to relax and watch the sunset.
