Everything about my stay at the Kypseli Hotel was great. I particularly found Nikki at the reception desk to be very kind and helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever I’m in Volos.

Hotel is ready for a refurb. Staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was good. The room has no facilities - no tea and coffee, one glass to share. I had to make the bed as it was still set up for hot weather - so no sheet and no duvet. It was ok but I wouldn't rush back.

We arrived around 7 pm. The parking is limited so we had to walk with our bags from port. Not a big deal for us. It is located right by all the restaurant and people here in Greece live to party and stay up late. So the noise was loud until around 2 am. Loud music and laughter. But hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable. We caught the ferry early next morning so it was super convenient for that purpose.

Parking is a serious issue in this part of Volos. We ended up with a parking ticket of 40 euros that could have been averted had hotel staff simply suggested non-street options.
There was construction on the walkway getting to the hotel, but can't complain about that: it'll be gone soon enough.
The hotel itself is situated perfectly: right on the harbor, with lots of restaurants and cafes near by, shopping not far, and of course great views.
