Property and room was a bit outdated. Breakfast was simple. Coffee machine was not great and wasps were annoying. WiFi did not work in room On plus side they were very welcoming and hotel pool area was nice and short walk to lovely beach

Air conditioning worked perfectly in a spotlessly clean room that was not what we were expecting after a recommendation from family, it was very dated and tired, the cleaning staff were brilliant though, they cleaned our room thoroughly every day with a smile. Breakfast started off great with lovely selections from fruits and yoghurts to continental to cooked breakfasts, but sadly it got steadily worst as the days past, the dining area wasn’t as clean as it had been, what should have been hot food was cold, with some of it left out on the side. The pool and its surroundings were amazing but the pool bar was quite often left unattended. The staff were very friendly and helpful but it felt like the hotel was very understaffed and minimal staff there was would often group together for cigarette breaks..!!! Shame.

First and foremost, the staff were exceptional! The hotel rooms have seen better days, but we had everything we needed. The beach was down a side road and across the street, and there were restaurants within a short walk. The breakfast was ok, the AC did its job, the bed and pillows were not terrible. What I loved was that the staff was super accommodating, and allowed us to use the pool late into the night, which was welcome during the heat wave in Skala.

We had a lovely holiday here and will definitely book again - shame they are full for the rest of this year or we would be back later this summer! Excellent hosts- especially Zefie and Lea - who make you feel very welcome. Rooms are basic but comfortable - which is reflected in the star rating/room rate, they are spotlessly cleaned everyday and have everything you need including air conditioning (included in the price). Pool was great - especially with an ice cold Mythos from the pool bar! Great location - close to the beach and a short walk into the centre of Skala.

The whole team at the Melodron and its quiet area just the right amount of distance away from the beach made it a perfect relaxing holiday. Great beer, food, company, atmosphere and assistance! Will definatley be coming back!

A lovely hotel. We have just returned. Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Cleaned everyday to a high standard. We were in a ground floor apartment with separate lounge/ bedroom and a small patio area. Very quiet and just far enough away from the main busy Skala high street. The pool over looks the beach and the pool area is lovely with plenty of beds, and a nice pool bar. They provide pool towels which is helpful. Breakfast is good and served 8am until 10am. I would not hesitate to stay here again. A wonderful hotel.

Very friendly, Wendy who runs it knows all your names and uses them each day when she sees you. Cleaned everyday. Lovely pool and grounds. Nice little bar and snacks. All friendly workers. Supermarket 2 mins beach over the road and restaurants all along and up the Main Street. Quiet and all you need is there. Basic breakfast but adequate. Would definitely recommend

Had a great stay here for 5 nights. Our first visit to the island. Hotel was a lovely location, just off the main road. But only a few mins walk to shops, restaurant and beach. Pool was nice, plenty of sunbeds to go around (although we were very early in the season.) Breakfast was reasonable with some hot cold food to choose from. But what raised it above and beyond was excellent service from the team. Wendy and Kostas were especially helpful, friendly and chatty, but also a shout out to Theo and Arris. Well recommended with lots of repeat guests going back multiple times.

Nettes Personal, Einrichtung schon etwas älter jedoch alles sauber und ordentlich. Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, ein wenig Besteck und Geschirr sind vorhanden sonst keine Küchenausstattung. Stabiles WiFi in allen Bereichen. Einfaches Frühstücksbuffet für 2 Übernachtungen absolut okay. Pool und Außenbereich gepflegt. Strand, Geschäfte und Restaurants fussläufig erreichbar. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

The Melidron is a lovely friendly hotel with wonderful staff. The hotel is very comfortable and very convenient for the beach, the supermarket and the restaurants. We hope to stay at the Melidron again very soon.

So many return to this family run hotel, if you want peace and quite and a convenient location you cannot go wrong . Within yards of the sea but away from the noise of the road. Great value and Wendy on reception cannot do enough if help is needed. Large rooms with safe and air condition.
