We loved the hotel, perfect for what we wanted. We did have concerns after reading other negative reviews but I can’t fault it at all. We were only staying for one night at the end of a week long sailing holiday and Sunset Hotel was just what we needed to unwind. Hotel is slightly dated but I felt that added to the charm. We were given early access to our room and stayed all day to use the facilities after check out the following day. Breakfast was great. Every single member of staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Pool / bar were perfect and it was a lovely way to finish our holiday. There is no evening bar / entertainment and the hotel isn’t near a resort without having to travel (bus into Corfu town was easy and affordable) but as we were only there for 2 days / 1 night this wasn’t an issue for us. Worth bearing in mind for longer stays though. Whilst only being there for a short time, we had a wonderful experience. 2 adults, 2 teenagers. Thank you Sunset.

Ficamos 7 dias no hotel. Os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos. Eles fizeram todo o possível para atender nossas necessidades, como check in antecipado (chegamos muito cedo no hotel por causa do voo), orientações quanto aos passeios e alimentação, ligaram para pizzaria para pedir pizza, reservaram passeios e transfer, permitiram levar o café da manhã no quarto e muito mais. É possível comprar passeios no próprio hotel (para outras ilhas e para a Albânia). O hotel dispõe de uma ótima piscina, com lanchonete. Café da manhã muito bom. Perto do hotel há um bom mercado (Liedl), uma praia pública (Alykes) e um bom restaurante (Taverna Alykes, que fica na praia pública). Há linha de ônibus em frente ao hotel com acesso a outras praias. Se estiver de carro, facilita bastante conhecer outros lugares e restaurantes.

Après avoir regardé beaucoup d'hôtels, on a choisi celui-ci pour sa proximité et son accessibilité. Nous étions à 10 minutes en bus de corfou town et 20-30 minutes des plages de Dassia et Issos. Le petit-déjeuner est très correct, la piscine est plutôt agréable et les transats toujours disponibles (peut-être au vu de la période plus calme). Le seul bémol je dirais sont les chambres, qui sont plutôt vétuste : beaucoup de poussières sous les lits, une ambiance de chambre plutôt vieillotte et la télé qui ne fournit que l'équivalent de la tnt grecque donc impossible à utiliser pour des touristes ne parlant pas grec. Changer la décoration des chambres n'est pas forcément utile ni nécessaire mais ce serait bien de mettre des télés avec accès aux plateformes de streaming. Dans l'ensemble, très bon séjour avec un personnel agréable et un prix plus que raisonnable.

Bien pour une nuit avant le départ car proche de l'aéroport.Personnel gentil et à l'écoute.Très bon petit déjeuner buffet à partir de 7h30. Les chambres sont à rénover.Il ny a pas de restauration à proximité.Le trajet hotel aéroport n taxi, réservé par l'hotel, nous a couté 36euros pour 4 personnes et 4 valises.

Das Personal an der Rezeption ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind stark in die Jahre gekommen, aber recht sauber. Hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße, der Lärm der Straße ist schon enorm. Frühstück war ok, recht einfach, aber soweit alles da, was man für ein Frühstück benötigt (Müsli, Brot, Joghurt, Melone, Aufschnitt, Marmelade und Kuchen). Der Pool ist nett, Liegen und Sonnenschirme ausreichend da. Gute Poolbar. Wir haben es für eine Nacht gebucht zwischen Aida und Rückflug. Dafür in Ordnung, für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre es meines Erachtens nichts.

Was a really nice ‘does what it says on the tin’ hotel. Friendly staff for the most part. It would be great if the pool could be open longer in the summer months. Closing at 7pm when it’s still hot outside and you’re still serving at the bar doesn’t make much sense. But it did make us pop to the beach ten mins away to swim and that was wonderful .

Sunset is a value hotel with an outside pool (excellent). The hotel itself is ok but I would class this as tired and dated, lots of dark furnishings throughout. Staff are friendly and helpfull. The hotel is situated approx 3.5km from the center of Corfu Town and is just off the busy main road into town and the port areas. The hotel is very handy for the local buses with a stop directly outside the hotel. Being so close to the main road means there is a fair amount of traffic noise to contend with and the front/side facing rooms will hear a lot of this noise. During our stay I was able to move rooms to one looking out across the pool, and this was much quieter at night. Breakfast is buffet style, more than adequate and plenty of it. Overall a good value hotel, I would happily use afain for a short 1-2 night stay if i was visiting the area again.

Le gros bémol, c est que l hôtel est en bord d une 2x2 voies super passante 😅 bruits constant de voiture qui roule à vive allure… Joli piscine, petit déjeuner suffisant et variés Après le propriétaire devrais changer la déco année 80… un coup de peinture, une joli tête de lit et un mobilier plus moderne et ça pourrais être bien plus sympa. Ça reste ok pour 1 ou 2 nuits… Arrêt de bus (2euros) pour Corfou old town juste en face de l hôtel et environ 10minutes de trajet.

Great location for the port, lovely staff and breakfast but very tired old fashioned furniture, think 70s/80s. If you arrive at midnight and leave at 7.30 as we did it was fine. If you want to stay more than that I'd look elsewhere.

Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel verbracht. Innen-und Außenbereich sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Pool ist sehr ansprechend. Unser Zimmer lag auf der zur Straße abgewandten Seite mit Poolblick. Unweit vom Hotel befindet sich ein gutes griechisches Restaurant direkt am Meer. (Alikes Taverna). Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.

Sehr einfach, aber dem Preis absolut angemessen. Das Zimmer wirklich klein und basic, für zwei Tage war es für uns aber ausreichend. Gute Lage in Strandnähe mit einer netten Taverne und einem Supermarkt fußläufig. Ins Stadtzentrum etwas zäh, wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist. Toller Pool, an dem allerdings der Straßenlärm recht laut ist. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Parhaat päivänsä nähnyt hotelli. Huone oli kuin suoraan 90-luvulta ja huoneessa haisi niin voimakkaasti viemäri, että se tarttui vaatteisiin ja haisivat vielä seuraavana päivänäkin. Ilmastointi niin kovaääninen, ettei voinut pitää päällä. Aamiainen todella suppea. En yöpyisi täällä enää mistään hinnasta.

It was a good time staying there despite they have not too many staffs to help the clients and either the card machine was not working so been uncomfortable to us because we need to go to the ATM to withdraw some money to buy food .

Sehr einfach, aber dem Preis absolut angemessen. Das Zimmer wirklich klein und basic, für zwei Tage war es für uns aber ausreichend. Gute Lage in Strandnähe mit einer netten Taverne und einem Supermarkt fußläufig. Ins Stadtzentrum etwas zäh, wenn man ohne Auto unterwegs ist. Toller Pool, an dem allerdings der Straßenlärm recht laut ist. Hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Very warm welcome from reception. There is a really nice family atmosphere in and around the hotel. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Recommended highly.

Parhaat päivänsä nähnyt hotelli. Huone oli kuin suoraan 90-luvulta ja huoneessa haisi niin voimakkaasti viemäri, että se tarttui vaatteisiin ja haisivat vielä seuraavana päivänäkin. Ilmastointi niin kovaääninen, ettei voinut pitää päällä. Aamiainen todella suppea. En yöpyisi täällä enää mistään hinnasta.

It was a good time staying there despite they have not too many staffs to help the clients and either the card machine was not working so been uncomfortable to us because we need to go to the ATM to withdraw some money to buy food .
