Check-in was easy and welcoming — not the polished, impersonal kind, but the sort of genuine kindness that immediately makes you feel at home. Everyone on the team seemed to truly enjoy what they do, greeting us by name, sharing local tips, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed.
Breakfast quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. Every morning there was something homemade and delicious waiting for us — warm pastries, fresh fruit, local cheeses, and traditional Greek dishes made with care. It felt like visiting family who happen to be amazing cooks.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being so close to everything. After wandering through Athens all day, it was the perfect place to unwind — cozy, calm, and full of thoughtful touches.
But what really made this hotel stand out was the feeling behind it. There’s so much heart here. You can tell the owners and staff truly care about their guests and take pride in creating a place that feels personal and authentic.
We absolutely loved our stay and honestly wouldn’t think twice about coming back. If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming spot that captures the spirit of Athens, this hidden gem is it.

This is the absolute gem of a place. All the major attractions are within 15-20 minutes walking distance. Their staff is so nice and caring. They also clean your room everyday. I would love to recommend this place to everyone. Worth your money.

The best part of the hotel is the sweet staff who took such great care of us. They provided everything we needed and were so kind (even when I took a fall and scraped up my leg) they help me clean and bandage it! The breakfast was good and the bed comfortable. The only concern was we stayed in the “basic room” and it was extremely small. So small there was no where to put your luggage.

The staff were all very kind and helpful. The breakfast spread was amazing! A little bit of everything and some local pastries to try. Within walking distance of the many things you will want to see in Athens. The bakery at the end of the block made the whole neighborhood smell like cinnamon rolls!

We had a perfect one stay in this hotel. The localisation is perfect, great and safe area. Near from the touristic places. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was really good with homemade Greek specialties and other really nice things.
I would defiantly recommend this hotel. The staff was really nice and welcoming as well.

The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about everything we requested from helping with transport details to what to do and see in the city. The hotel is conveniently located walking distance to everything! They provided to-go breakfasts when we left to catch our early morning flight. I would absolutely stay there again!

This tiny hole in the wall hotel, is the cutest place on earth. I’ve travelled a lot and never have seen a small hotel like this that has everything you need. The breakfast was also great. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was 5 of us travelling and we would love to come back again

A great hotel, located in the best spot for seeing ancient ruins and accessing shopping and dining options! The room was extremely comfortable, and the front desk was 24/7 which turned out to be super helpful since our flight got delayed! Just make sure to select the right address if traveling by Uber, don't type home sweet home or you'll end up in the Greek countryside.
Also they had breakfast included which as a nice touch!
And the most comfortable pillows in all of Athens! Honestly this should be rated higher than a 1 star hotel.

Staff here was extremely accessible and helpful. They made check in and out easy! Love the 24-hour reception and hotel has many restaurants within walking distance. Also just a 5 min walk from Syntagma metro station!
