It was a very comfortable stay, the bed was really comfortable and the staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. Facilities are good with a swimming pool, restaurant and gym. The gym is basic but ok if you want to do basics. Location is good, I caught a train to the city centre and it was only 3 stops. I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was ok. The pool was only 1 ft deep. The surrounds from the hotel felt very dodgy and unsafe.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel . Staff were very efficient in checking us in early . Really spacious room and bathroom . Tea/coffee making facilities , bathrobe and slippers provided . Rooftop pool and restaurant bar also great . Would definitely return again . Facilities of Wyndham Grand can also be accessed .

The hotel itself if very nice, my room was clean and comfortable. The people working at the front desk are friendly and helpful. One issue during my stay is that the kitchen broke, so they didn’t have dinner or room service there. The main issue I had with this stay is the location. This hotels location in a bad part of Athens with high crime and drug use. It is not safe to walk there at night. Even walking around during the day to the city center felt uncomfortable and risky to me. So you will have to likely taxi everywhere. I came back to the hotel at 1:00am one night of my stay. The door to the hotel was locked, it is locked to keep people with ill intent out and I had to wait there for someone to open it. That should tell you enough about the location. If you are female travellers in a group or a solo female traveller, I do not recommend staying here. Stay closer to Plaka or research a better area.

The hotel had a strong, unpleasant smell throughout. I was shown several rooms, and all of them looked like old hospital wards – outdated and unwelcoming. The electricity kept cutting out multiple times. The reception staff were rude and completely unhelpful. I ended up having to rush out and book another hotel. The location was also very noisy and far from anything convenient. When I expressed my concerns, I was simply told to leave – which I did.

We wanted our room an hour earlier but they make everybody wait until the exact check in time.

Everyone was so pleasant in the hotel, receptionists were fantastic, bar staff fantastic and the cleaners who serviced our room. The hotel is in a very good location near a lot of restaurants and the hop on hop off buses. Upon our arrival, we were told our room had been upgraded which was a very welcoming surprise! Food was brilliant. Overall, excellent. Thank you!

The hotel is nicely located. Close to a metro station with good connections to Syntagma and Monastiraki squares. Room are spacious and comfortable and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. However, breakfast is very basic. The variety is poor and they do not seem to refill trays or gastronomes if they are empty. In addition the swimming pool is tiny and not so clean.

It is a nice hotel with very friendly staff, the rooms are comfortable and clean, it is very well located to access the Metro.

This is a good hotel, located next to a metro station which is very convenient, the staff is very friendly. The area is not very nice if you like to walk though is very close to nice areas.

Great stay, bed very comfortable and location is amazing right next to a main metro line. The use of the sister hotel opposite was a bonus- their bar has a great view of the acropolis!

Fantastic front-desk staff, who were very helpful in accommodating an early check-in for us as our flight landed at some ungodly hour. Room was clean and large. The only complaint is with the bellman in the lobby; who was aggressive, condescending, and rude. Walking around the lobby as though he owned the joint, grabbing bags out of hands and at one point telling me to "hurry up" and sighing loudly--very dramatic for a grown man. His colleagues looked mortified by his behaviour.

The Breakfast Included was of great variety. The room was noisy because it faced city traffic. The shower only had a half door, and the water ended up flooding the floor.

wyndham residneces is not the same as wyndham grand even though they are pooled together on booking websites, and it certainly was not a 5 star hotel as advertised; 3.5 stars at the very best. The gym and pool are very very basic. the grand has much better facilities that you can use however. The area around the hotel is not great at all, lots of homeless and migrants, rents in the area are as low as 300 euros a month for an apartment so be careful if you wonder in the side streets. Definitely over priced for what it is, and not a 5 star hotel. On the morning of my departure there was a taxi/uber strike and they didn't even bother to tell me, i had to scramble and go with the metro, and very nearly missed my flight! I would advise, stay elsewher in Athens.
