Beautiful hotel. Great restaurant. Wonderful and friendly staff. I only stayed one night at Villa Colonial, but I wish it were longer.

We love to stay at this hotel. Staff are friendly and efficient They’re very helpful with any issue or question you may have. Rooms are clean, cozy and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable. Food is Excellent as well as the service. Parking is very convenient and safe. We will surely come back to this beautiful hotel.

Las almohadas necesitan un upgrade inmediato. Al igual que las toallas y el “jabón multi usos” de la regadera no es de calidad, quien sabe qué era, no estaba identificado.
Habitación limpia y cómoda. Le falta ventilación, tuve que dejar las ventanas abiertas por qué había demasiado calor.

Very disappointing stay. The room I rented had no windows, which was terrible because there was no ventilation or natural light. On top of that, the lamps didn’t work properly and wouldn’t turn on. The bathroom was also poorly equipped: there was no shower curtain, the shower itself was faulty, and I found ants in the sink. Overall, it was an experience far below expectations.

You can stay in-walls (room, gardens, restaurant or pool) an enjoy an experience that you will want to repeat. Or go out for a short or long walk in the city to connect with the Franciscan (San Francisco El Grande arqueological site is few blocks North) and Mayan espirituality of Antigua Guatemala; Shoping? Walk some blocks North to Santa Catalina Sweets shop (highly recommended), some more blocks North to the Local Crafts Markets (highly recommended) and more blocks West to the shops around the City Centre. Summary: In or out walls, this is a jewel of a hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
