Really nice indoor pool and friendly staff

Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism.

Staff very good polite and helpful. Good breakfast, reasonable sized room although balcony small, two people could not sit on together (room 450?) Grounds lovely and well maintained.

Guernsey is a lovely island and everyone was helpful including hotel staff. This is a lovely hotel in a prime location. However, it is unfortunate that there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The week I stayed was a week with unseasonably hot weather, and it was very warm in the rooms. A fan and a window do not give enough fresh air during times of hotter weather. Regardless of the weather, this should be considered for future use. Apart from this, the hotel was lovely and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. I would hope to return in the future.

Staycation weekend

Attractive hotel and garden. Excellent breakfast choice and efficient and friendly breakfast staff. I enjoyed the pool in the spa area and my husband loved the private hot tub on our patio. Our maid/housekeeping attendant was called Navjot, special mention for her efficient and excellent service, she made our stay very comfortable. Nice touch with arrangement of towels etc. Only unfortunate aspect is noise from private events on Fri and Sat in one or two of the ground floor rooms, the music did stop punctually at 11pm or 12mn as previously announced.

Daily room service - beds, cleaning, etc. was excellent - congratulations and thanks to our designated member of staff (room 430) All service within the hotel was very prompt and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of dishes. One improvement - additional complementary bathroom items would have been useful, especially a shower cap. Thank you - I would definitely visit again.

Bonjour L hotel est parfait à tout niveau y compris le petit déjeuner avec un personnel très sympathique. Côté consommation et restaurant, la note est salée...Une bouteille de vin blanc bas de gamme à 5 est vendue pour un européen pres de 35€.... (Taxe 12.5% en plus et taux de change)

Bel hôtel chic à côté du golf. Environnement fleuri et calme. L accueil est remarquable par la gentillesse et l efficacité du personnel. Nous avons apprécié le super breakfast et la gastronomie locale au restaurant.

Lactose free milk would be a good addition to breakfast options

Nilesh our room steward was excellent and very attentive. Paul, Abbi and the rest of the restaurant and Bar staff were excellent, very helpful and very attentive. Carlene and her colleagues at reception were very helpful and attentive. We found everyone to be very helpful and attentive and everyone went all out to help make our stay enjoyable.

We stayed in a standard twin room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Also they were lovely with regard to our friends, whom one of them were celebrating their birthday during our stay. They kindly put a card and lovely chocolates in their room, which was a nice surprise for them. I used the pool and my husband used the gym. Both of which were good, along with the showers and lockers. We also were given towels for the pool and a gym towel to wipe down the equipment after use and were not charged extra for this. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to try out the hot tub, so cannot comment on that. Our rooms were very clean throughout and the beds were comfy. A hairdryer was there for convenience along with a little fridge and a safe. The only thing negative was no usb’s in the room for charging our phones etc (they could easily update the plug sockets with these). We asked reception for a plug with a usb but they only had one which was already being used by another customer. Also our room was rather tired looking and needs updating. The breakfast was wonderful! Something for everyone, including high chairs for children. The hotel was close to a bus stop (41 & 42 go straight into town) Buy a puffin pass at the terminal downtown. Don’t top up online, do it at the terminal because it takes 48 hours to load on your card. Plenty of parking. Lastly but not least, the grounds were lovely.

Tout était parfait dans cet hôtel. Le personnel très souriant. Le petit déjeuner parfait. Le spa très bien après une journée de balade à découvrir Guernesey. Peut-être demander que le personnel parle un peu le français quand on ne parle pas du tout l'anglais. Merci à la réception de nous avoir aidé quand notre ferry a été annulé.

Great staff strongly contributed to the excellent stay at this hotel.

Great property spa and outdoor areas beautiful. We enjoyed the lounge but did not eat on property. Golf course and 19 clubhouse both excellent too with top gold driving range and mini putt. 9 pound cab ride back from town and you can walk down in about 20 minutes.

Superb place for a stay, food excellent

Établissement très agréable et personnel aux petits soins. Tout le monde a été adorable et serviable. Petit-déjeuner très varié et copieux. Piscine, jaccuzi, hamam et sauna, très appréciables. Ça a été parfait du début à la fin, nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Lovely garden view double room with a balcony and an additional bed for my son. Our bed was comfortable but my son is 11 and found the temporary bed too soft and small. Lovely fresh breakfast, lots of choice of continental and hot items, although some cooked items were warm rather than hot. Impressed by the local apple juice too. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and steam room. Under 16’s not allowed in hot tub, steam room or sauna which is right as they are too hot for them! Unfortunately that there are only 2 times when children are allowed in the pool; 9-10am and 3-4.30pm. We arrived after 4pm so we’re only able to use this the following morning, but it was clean with good changing facilities. We didn’t have time to use the tennis court as we only stayed one night, but hope to next time!

Really lovley serivce. In particular Pamela and breakfast manager who were so kind to our children. Bit of a shame to only be able to use the pool at 2 set hours a day as with things planned it meant they didnt get to swim.as much as they would like. Bathroom slightly tatty.
